Been in our property nearly a month and we can not explain how happy we are. First of all it’s our first home for our family and second of all the staff were so helpful. Answered every question we had and made the move as smooth as possible. Thank you so much Martin&Co!

As a Landlord I cannot recommend Martin and Co more highly. Mike, Henry and team went out of their way to offer me sound advice when choosing my property which was pre-tenanted, way before I had even committed to use their services. They also took care of everything administratively in an efficient way and have been lovely, professional and reassuring people to deal since my first contact. It gives you peace of mind to know your property is in safe hands. Thank you M&Co.

If there is a bright star of the Estate Agent Universe this is clearly not it. Everything will run relatively smoothly until you move in. Then any problems with the property you are letting inspite of it being over a hundred years old will be YOUR FAULT. Nevertheless if you are told to poke around a drain in the back garden with a stick, Do yourself a favour and call the council. They have previous form for expecting the tenant to deal with issues that are the Landlord's responsibility. Do yourself a massive favour go somewhere else. Throw a dart at a map of agents, whoever you hit could not be any worse.

In addition to the above Mike Shrubshall contacted me to request I remove or edit my negative review in exchange for paying for the Drainage Repair which wasn't my fault anyway! When I refused he accused me of being "aggressive" Fabulous customer service accusing the customer of fault when you don't get your own way....You couldn't make this up! SERIOUSLY if it's a choice between building a mud hut on your own and going to Martin and Co.....Build a mud hut.

(In response to comments below) The issue with the plumbing was established by the council to be pre-existing. The officer who came out said that it was not the first time they had to deal with Martin and Co over such issues and not the first time that they had tried to stiff the tenant with the bill. The plumbing at the particular property (41 upper Kincraig) actu ally goes 'uphill' Now it doesn't take the brain of Stephen Hawking to realise that you cannot flush excrement uphill. Today I am seeking a reference to move on to another property and because he thinks somehow you shouldn't get irritated by having excrement flooding the back garden and that he is somehow deserving of courtesy and respect at the head of an estate agent that is frankly a total disaster is trying to blackmail me into being "nice" to him in exchange for a reference. My Mum died a month ago....I am being asked to move so they can sucker some other mug into living in the property.

Horrendous - keep away. Tenants - please be aware that the ‘Independent inventory company’ is a shell company run by Mike Shrubshall’s (the manager’s) wife and therefore not independent at all. You can see evidence of this on the Companies House website. Take your own photos if you are a tenant. They do not have the slightest care in the world about their tenants, outrightly lie and ignore all requests to make basic essential repairs for weeks and appear to require you to state intention to sue and enforcement from environmental health to actually do anything at all.

We had no wash machine for 3 month when we just moved in the property. I should have be aware at the very beginning of this amazing agent as it took three months for them to replace a wash machine.

A gentle reminder that probably you should consider to buy some new computers as it seems like you can not receive any email. Otherwise how come I have never been replied.

Mike Shrubshall, thank you very much for bringing me so many stress. You’ve tried you best to take my deposit. I’m sorry to hear that the lovely DPS have stopped you. And your customer service is the worlds’ No. 1 I don’t think I can find anyone else that worse than you.

Finally, thanks DPS for all the help. Don’t forget to take pictures of your property when you return the key to the office, you’ll need them.

I have used Martin & Co for many years to rent my properties. They have always provided me with lovely tenants. They sold my block this year and Henry in particular has been fantastic.
I would highly recommend Martin & Co for both sales and lettings

Really helpful team, we had many issue with other agents but Martin & Co helped me get my money back from the DPS. But we had a big share of stress but a big thanks to Mike Shrubshall

Having dealt with dozens of letting agencies in the past, I can safely say that Martin & Co have been the smoothest and most professional team to work with. Rob Noblet was a great guy to work with, and we very much appreciated how clear and precise he made the entire viewing and application process. The office staff were quite helpful and all documents delivered on time and as expected. After many nightmares in the past, this letting agency is a real breath of fresh air!

Very pleased with just how well Martin & Co showed off my property, their 360 Virtual Tours made my property look incredible. The back up service and support have also been second to none. If you want to someone to really show off your property and get the job done use these guys!

I would like to commend Henry for his excellent work on the sale of our property- he worked above and beyond the call of duty and was always polite, helpful and diligent. It was not an easy process for many reasons but Henry worked incredibly hard to keep everything moving to completion. Great Job !!

I have been with Martin&co For 6 years...and honestly they have been the best letting agency I have been with, They have dealt with any issues and repairs that I have had promptly and efficiently. There Customer service is excellent and the Team are very dedicated and you can feel how passion they are about there business...which makes me very comfortable.

Anytime that I needed things to be repaired which have been a few times...They have been repaired on the same day to 3 days depending on the urgency of the situation even if i couldn't get through to the agency itself the call centre for martin and co always seemed to get my message through to the team within a reasonable time scale.

Overall I think The company and Staff are Reliable, Credible and Friendly.
