What to expect
For beginners it's all about confidence -we practice getting our faces in the water confidently and floating. By the end of 4 days most children are swimming without aids or at least a lot more confident in the water blowing bubbles and kicking their legs.
Wave 2/3 is where you see the most difference. Children who could swim develop proper strokes and breathing to the side and correct hand entry into the water. Even spending some quality time on breaststroke and butterfly!
Wave 4 upwards is all about stroke development. We perfect those little niggles and bad habits creating those smooth strokes and mastering butterfly!
Our classes are small with 8 or less children in and we teach in the water it's a great foundation whatever your child's level.
And the most important bit .... UNDERWATER PICTURES WILL BE TAKEN THROUGHOUT THE WEEK AND BE AVAILABLE TO YOU ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE.
All children will receive a medal ЁЯеЗ and certificate at the end of the week.

Yet again we are over the moon with the progress our boys have made in this fantastic swim school. Rhiannon is an amazing teacher, her knowledge of each and every child is unbelievable. She encourages, challenges and supports all the children in her school and understands what every child needs to progress. My boys love her lessons and I would highly recommend Medley swim school.

We wanted 3yr old daughter Heidi to have some swimming lessons before we went on our family holiday abroad. So we decided to book a block booking with medley swim school and we are so glad we did.

Heidi has progressed so much in the past 10wks far beyond my expectations and has already gained her 5m and 10m badge.

Rhiannon has a great rapport with the children and makes the lessons fun. Heidi has also had some 1 to 1 sessions with Rhiannon which have been amazing. My daughter absolutely loves coming to her lessons so much so she packs her bag herself!

We have already signed up for the next block of lessons and the half term intensive course. I can't recommend this swim school highly enough, 5тШЖ on here but she gets 10тШЖ from me!

If your looking for a friendly swim school with small classes that make it fun for your little ones to learn this great life skill then this is the school for you!

This is going to be a long one but I just thought itтАЩs best you get the full picture. After trying to get my son to swim from the age of 4 (now 6) we have had an awful journey. HeтАЩs petrified of water but especially swimming pools/classes. WeтАЩve tried llantrisant leisure group lesson, one2one sessions and even doing it ourselves. HeтАЩs petrified and I mean shaking, crying, making himself sick ect. IтАЩm not your over protective mother who panders to their every whim neither so I have never allowed him to over act on anything. He done one session with this amazing instructor and IтАЩm blown away. We had no drama, no being upset for hours afterwards, nothing. He happily chatted all the way home in the car and canтАЩt wait to go back next week. This was It really does show when you find someone capable of catering for individual needs even though their teaching a small group. I cannot recommend this enough. Thanks you Rhiannon from the bottom of my heart.

This is RobynтАЩs 3rd week at Medley, she has already achieved her 20m & today is the first time I have been able to watch her, to see her complete the class without a belt & diving is unbelievable.I am so impressed by the teaching techniques of the club & the individual time spent with each child. Well done Rhiannon & all the instructors at Medley. Brilliant!

Rihannon has done superb job with progressing my daughter Reagan, she was at another class and not progressing it was a hard decision for me to move her but when she moved to Rhiannon she settled In instantly & went from barely swimming 10 metres to confidently swimming 25 metres in one block of lessons.

It was the best decision I made.

She is amazing with all the children.

Really can't thank Rhiannon and Medley Swim School enough, my 4 year old started on the intensive course in the Easter holidays and in just a few short weeks he has progressed massively and is now swimming underwater confidently.

Every class teaches new skills in a fun interactive way.

She has infinite patience with the children, my son loves her and we trust her implicitly.

So glad we found these classes, gives great peace of mind as a parent!

Our daughter Grace started lessons with Rhiannon part way through the Splash 6 course. We wanted Grace to become more confident in the water in preparation for our family holiday. After only 8 sessions Grace achieved her 10m badge today, swimming unaided about half the length of the pool! Grace loves her lessons and we love watching her make progress and overcome challenges every week. Grace was attending lessons at more than double the cost but making half the progress with a different swim school so we cannot recommend Medley Swim school highly enough.

There is a wonderful and friendly atmosphere and the small class sizes means every child has the full attention they require and their individual needs are challenged.

We are so grateful for all of RhiannonтАЩs hard work and we canтАЩt wait for Grace to show off her new skills on holiday я┐╜ xx

My son attended his first lesson today with Rhiannon and melody swim school, He is 8 years old and very nervous in new situations. Tarn has worked himself up all week knowing he had a lesson and this morning he was crying, shouting and lashing out at me. When we arrived there was a warm welcome awaiting no judging his behaviour just reassurance. I left him at the pool side crying and was unsure he would cooperate at all with in minutes he was in the water and reluctantly taking part by the end of the half hour he was laughing and jumping in off the side. I canтАЩt thank the staff enough for their time and patience they really made sure he was comfortable and enjoyed his lesson.

My daughter's love the water but have had no formal teaching as we have found it hard to fit in with work. I booked them on the crash course which they both enjoyed so much and came so far in just a week that I would happily recommend this to anyone. Will certainly be looking to book them in for more sessions,thank you

My 6 year old boy was never a fan of the water. We tried teaching him to swim ourselves with no luck, he panicked if he didn't have armbands on. By the end of the first lesson with medley swim school he had no swimming aids at all. Now 5 months later and he's swimming into the deep end by himself. I am so impressed with Rhiannon and her team. They get in the water with the kids so Evan feels safe and trusts them. The best swimming school around with lovely instructors that my son adores. Highly recommend Rhiannon. Moved my son from hawthorn when she moved! She's so good with him and he listens to her. They have a lovely relationship and She knows how to handle him! Wouldn't go with anyone else and I always recommend her when people ask. я┐╜я┐╜

Getting my son to learn to swim has been very challenging.He absolutely loves the water but at the same time gets very nervous я┐╜ Rhiannon at Medley' is fantastic! Can't recommend Rhiannon & Medley Swim School highly enough.. There's always a warm & friendly atmosphere, the classes are small so no child is left out, unobserved or left to fall behind & she's so patient & fab with the kids; you can tell that they all really like & respect her.

My lil un loves swimming with Rhiannon so much - to the point where she stopped herself moving up in order to stay in Rhiannon's class at her previous swim school я┐╜я┐╜ Rhiannon has been so encouraging & supportive of my daughter & it's absolutely reflected in her progress, how unafraid she is in the water & how much she looks forward to going each week.

After over a year of harlee swimming with a different school and not making much progress, we finally decided to move harlee to medley swim school and it was the best decision we ever made, in just 3 lessons heтАЩs been moved up to wave 2!! ItтАЩs so good to see harlee enjoying the lessons with no tears and wanting to come back the following week!
