Since 2010, Bangor University is conducting excavations at the Late Bronze - Iron Age double ringwork enclosure of Meillionydd near Rhiw on the Llyn peninsula in North-West Wales.
Meillionydd Excavations Description
Meillionydd is a late Bronze and Iron Age weak-double ringwork enclosure on the Llyn peninsula in North-West Wales. This year (2016) the excavations held at Meillionydd enter their third year as an Archaeological Field School, hoping to encourage and train more future professional archaeologists.
