A productive Sunday fixing, cleaning and putting things on the walls while storm Dennis rages outside. Thanks to my Mum and Keith for all their help. Enfys Mawr needs some more work but for now it is back open for business until our door and windows arrive.

Today is a busy day at Ser Bach as we have the builders here opening up the rooms between messy play and Enfys Mawr. The children are having a party day with road safety fun, driving lessons and a play dough party happening in different pasts of the building so there may be stories about playing with different friends tonight. X

It has come to our attention that Little Puffins playgroup in Beaumaris have rebranded themselves as Meithrinfa Ser Bach Beaumaris. We would like to make it clear before there is any potential complications that this organisation has no connection to us. We are very proud as a family and staff of our hard work and the reputation we have built and would not like to cause our valued customers any confusion. Thank you, diolch.

Just finished a long afternoon of landscaping in our new play area. I may not be able to move next week but it is all starting to come together.

More progress on the building of our new feature in our soon to be new play area. The children have been keeping note of Steve’s work all day. Just as well he doesn’t mind working with an audience.

There was a lot of excitement today. Steve from McVenture arrived to start work on our new play area paid for with grant money we received from the WAG’s Childcare Offer. We will post lots of pictures as the work progresses. 😀😀😀

This morning I had the lovely job of removing dog poo off our ramp. Please use the pavement to walk your dog and not our land. It is really unpleasant for the children. Thank you.

***Trefniadau Tywydd Gwael / Bad Weather Arrangements*** We will be monitoring the weather for the next couple of hours due to high winds. Currently the nursery will stay open until 6pm but if the weather decreases and we feel that it is unsafe we will be making arrangements to close the nursery early. We kindly ask parents to ensure that they start their journey early enough so that you are able to travel safely to pick up their children up on time as there is a possibility ...of the bridges closing if you are travelling from Gwynedd side. 2019 has been a really good year for Ser Bach, we have said a fond farewell to some friends and welcomed many more. The highlights have included most importantly having fun each day with our lovely children, working as part of a crazy and wonderful team, making our sauces for selling, hosting our first Mcmillan coffee day, celebrating our 5th birthday with lots of visitors, helping Dafydd Coates to raise over £10,000 for Alaw ward, welcoming The Mad Hatter Studio for paintin...g fun and Claire Mcdonald head of the Childcare Offer amongst a host of other things. 2020 promises to be just as busy with a grant from the Childcare Offer ensuring we can develop our outdoor play area and opening a fourth playroom early in the New Year. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back on Thursday but until then from the Staff at Ser Bach we would like to wish all of our customers and friends a Happy New Year. Xx
