Thankyou so much melin for the fabulous service we received today phoned as boiler packed in didn’t really expect a call due to poor weather conditions but within two hours the plumbers was here and fixed the boiler�can’t ask for no better.

i now have a problem solved . And got to say all the work

guys are amazing, Everytime they come to the house for

any work they do the job really brilliantly and are just lovely.

Been out today briefly & yesterday. I must say Melin homes have done a great job getting out to neighbours who have had frozen boilers etc. Horrible conditions to be out "on-call" working in freezing conditions. They obviously hold up to their values of being a caring Landlord & take responsibility seriously! The office maybe closed but behind the scenes a small dedicated team are hard at work. #communityspirit #hardworkers

Iv been with melin homes for 14 years and I can honestly say they have been really good, the repairs are repaired really quickly, I had a leak only yesterday and they was here within half an hour,

Wouldn't give melin any stars at all. absolutely ridiculous . Spend every other week on the fine to them chasing things.. or trying to speak to certain people and every time i phone it's no they not in they on annual leave or they on the sick or there back next week. They send an email and as of now I'm still waiting 3 wks for a ceratin person to fone back. Single mum of 3 kids have had to out up with an abusive prostitute neighbour . Banging through the night. calling my 7 year old a c**t.. absolutely nothing has bin done. But to be fair I Wouldn't mind working for melin. As it seems every fkr gets paid for doin naf all. And hardly being in.... Well done melin u get any vacancies let me know..... Ye this js a long review but to be fair it ain't the half of what I could write.....As soon as I get out of melin property i will never go back into one ....

Why are melin homes using roundup weed killer? I really object to you using this carcinogenic product in my area! Or anywhere!! I'd like to add that i wasn't able to leave a message without adding a star!!!

Well I wouldn't even put 1 star cause I'm absolutely disgusted and ashamed right now to admit I'm a tenant of Melin Homes.

Since December 2015 I've rang for help regarding damp and mould which has taken over my son's bedroom, which I've now had to keep out and put him in a bed with my disabled daughter in a box room (smallest room in the house) cause he already has a weak chest and already had bacterial infection on his lungs cause of the mould in his room before Christmas. Since the 1st call out with the surveyor two days before Christmas Day the mould has got worse and even started in the two other bedrooms and bathroom, on 2nd visit was told to keep all windows and doors closed and leave vents open. Doing this the mould has gotten a lot worse again and all I've been told is they will come out to fix the electric fans in bathroom and kitchen which they will come out end of this month. So this means in the meantime I'm still to remain in the house with a 9month old baby, a 4 year old with chest problems and a disabled daughter as well as myself with each bedroom being over taken by mould. It's appalling that they ain't doing anything than sitting on the arse in an office, I feel completely let down that me and my children has to live in this.

Well I can only state my complete disappointment with Melin homes. I rang today to inform them of my Grandmother's sudden passing, only to be told they do not give families any grace where the rent is concerned to clear the property. So much for compassion..

Unfortunately this organisation also makes use of JSA workfare conscripts, who have no choice but to 'volunteer', and an offer you can't refuse is no offer at all. 'Workfare' is an umbrella term used to describe any scheme aimed at forcing the unemployed to work or volunteer unpaid, and that includes the especially punitive but soon to be no more, 'Community Work Placements' this outfit is happy to opportunistically make use of.



Various hacks like to try and justify using JSA conscripts as 'serving a greater good', that being the favourite hack end of 'delivery', regardless of whether any such outcome is even achieved.



Please end your involvement in 'CWPs' Melin Homes, and stop trying to ignore your critics, until then shame on you.

Terrible! Paying rent each week I have a kitchen which is falling apart, electric wires on show, gas pipes waiting weeks on going phone calls to try get people out to sort it out but nothing gets done!

Rubbish-ongoing problems that never get sorted as nobody ever returns calls -if you ever do get anyone to come out its just a load of form filling to do with no end result.

Renting with yourselves with my young premature daughter who also has heart and kidney problems reported repairs 9 weeks ago as water came gushing through my ceiling a simple repair you needed to replace plastic and seal on bath 9 weeks waiting and I'm still waiting tonight water came gushing through my ceiling yet again rung emergency out of hours to be told it's my fault for taking a bath and they wouldn't be sending anyone out until at least the morning to come and make sure it hasn't gone to the light/electrics so I'm able to use my appliances. Ruined my food as the water came gushing right over the top of it and I'm left without facilities to bath and feed my baby. I'm now left with inadequate facilities to look after my little girl because you can't do your job. Yet your quick enough taking £630 out of the bank every month. Not happy.

I've got to say I'm really disappointed in melin homes today. I rarely have to bother or ring for assistance but when I ve had to today the service is really poor. My rent is paid every month without fail and In my opinion we pay enough rent every month to live in these property's yet to be told that I have to wait 5 days to get a problem with my toilet sorted really isn't good enough. The fact that these houses are also on water meters is not gonna go down well with my next water bill thanks to this issue. To be told to just turn my stop cock of at night and ring back if the water starts flowing over the floor is not really good enough when it's flooded my house and ruined everything I've worked hard for !

I've assisted with a number of tenancy issues for people over the years but recently a matter involving MELIN and one of their tenants highlighted the inability of a particular staff member to remain objective - now the situation has spiralled out of control leaving the individual homeless whilst their former property remains empty (and will until such a time that MELIN spends a lot of money on it) - The ins and outs are not important, what is important is that the staff member at Melin had no intentions at all of being helpful because they were on a war path.



Furthermore, I took a day off (unpaid) to assist the person in emptying their property and as I was about to leave the Melin member of staff actually moved their vehicle to make it more difficult for me to leave - this did not go unnoticed.



I will be pursuing a formal complaint, I will be notifying our local MP, AM, councillors, everyone. I am livid.

I put 1 start to Wright on here I am really unhappy with sevice I received rung up last week for repairs to be done to find out that they never put for all back I have bean freezing cold for the past couple days and I have the heating on full and it still don't stop the draft coming throu. I have asked to speak to a manager then a women come on phone they basic said they will not do any think until the women is back in and I have to wait to have repair done so I said I will send my gas bill to them and all she said is we won't pay it I suffer with anxious really bad and panic attacks I some time whish I never went with melin home as I am very unhappy with them

I have emailed you 3 times since Christmas with the same question and each time have only

received automated mail saying we will get backto you so perhaps you could answer on fb. Why dont you assign properties to relatives other than spouses? Other housing associations

in the area do. I want a straightorward answer not your usual send privat mesage.

I dont usually do this but everytime you send the grass cutters around they leave more mess than there ever was to begin with its a nightmare dont even know why the grass blower man is here for as he just walks around blowing the gras and leaves all around the street i end up every time they come having to clean up the mess they leave behind as it ends up in everyones gardens and all over the road no pride in what they do
