Wonderful! We had the best time. Loved all the little touches.

We are just back from staying on this site, and canŌĆÖt praise it enough. We stayed in Mabel (who was awesome- see my review on ŌĆśMabelŌĆÖs caravan of loveŌĆÖ page!) - but had a full tour of the whole site from CarolAnne and Martin and it was awesome, with lots of exciting and unusual projects underway. The facilities (toilets and showers) were always clean and tidy, and of a high standard, and nothing was too much trouble. The area is also beautiful - we could have done with another week to keep exploring. We will be heading back most certainly, and looking forward to it already!

This place is great. If you want to BBQ somewhere with a sheltered outdoor sink area/kitchen area, then enjoy your food and a glass of wine on your own private table in a beautiful field whilst watching the sunset....this is for you. Also, you can enjoy an evening in the outdoor hot tub surrounded by trees. There area is decked, so is the ideal mix of comforts and nature. I would definitely rate it as one of the best glamping experiences in the area.

So quiet and peaceful we loved our stay here and wish we had booked for longer. Can't wait to come back. Beautiful facilities and very helpful owners. See you soon. The Smith family ’┐Į

So many campsites now are so commercialised and try and cram as many tents and caravans as they can into the space. So it was a relief to find Melin Mabes.

This campsite is truly idyllic and is such a relaxing place to be. The owners CarolAnne and Martin are really welcoming but never intrusive. CanŌĆÖt wait to return x

Melin Mabes a labour of love is ready to share a secret hideaway in central Pembrokeshire. We are a caravan and camping cl site. Children are welcome and safe to roam in fully fenced and gated paddock but must be closely supervised everywhere else please. Dogs too are welcomed and free to roam in paddock but must be on leads elsewhere please.

Mabel's Gypsy Wagon is a hidden gem! Lovely hosts, welcoming & friendly. The site itself is lovely and secluded with excellent facilities (the shower was clean, hot and actually powerful!), private hot tub was a real treat and there were many little extras I hadn't expected such as towels, dressing gown, the fluffiest blanket. You have every utensil, crockery, cutlery, pots & pans you could need, plus washing up liquid, sponges, tea-towels....the list goes on! All you need to bring is yourself, some clothes & food (and not even that if you fancy some fresh eggs and veg from the garden!) A great little hideout for some alone time. It was worth a long journey and I'll definitely be back! :)

Just had a lovely stay on the camp site...weŌĆÖd sort of forgotten how to camp and had left behind the usual essentials, gas camping stove, ice box, loo roll etc. No problemo, there was a HEATED shower and toilet block with not only a gorgeous warm shower, but a kettle, small fridge, and a hairdryer too!

Very quiet. Peaceful, easy going and comfortable, in sheltered beautiful surrounds.

I want to come back and stay in the treehouse. Thank you Carol Anne and Martin, for thinking of all the little things to make camping a piece of cake. It really would be possible to turn up with the minimum (bed + tent).ellie and plum

Fantastic weekend spent in Mabel's Gypsy Caravan! The caravan was cosy, and on our first night was warm enough even without using the wood burning stove. The site itself was very pretty, with plants and flowers grown around the pitch.



The kitchen has everything you need to self cater for the weekend, including a pizza oven which we used both nights (after some helpful advice from Martin!) The private hot tub was perfect to relax in and enjoy the scenery.



CarolAnne & Martin were great hosts and gave lots of helpful advice before our trip, including how to get to the site and what to bring. They were also on hand to answer any questions during our stay...and we're very forgiving when Rhys broke their marble rolling pin!

Children and I had a wonderful stay in the Spodnic. The children now have their eye on the Tree house for next year

CarolAnne and Martin are great hosts! Spodnic is super amazing! We've had a great couple of days. Spodnic is totally unique, not something you see everyday. It's amazing inside, enough space to be comfortable. Great outdoors space too for relaxing, nicely secluded and peaceful. The outside kitchen has everything you need and the shower block is great. It's so nice to find somewhere different that is also accessible. The hot tub just adds that little bit of luxury to make it an even greater place to stay. We've had an incredible few days, feel very lucky to have been Spodnic's first guests, a very memorable start to my thirties! If you're thinking of staying here, don't hesitate - we've had so much fun!
