Extremely satisfied. I bid over the phone with the help of the member of staff and the online description and photos....I was anxious for what I had bought but when I collected the van it was as described, has run great since I've had it and I paid around £1000 below market value. After about 6 weeks it was identified there was a discrepancy with the name on the log book, it was dealt with extremely quickly by the team at Merthyr Motor Auctions and with no fuss. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER

Good access. It has a really good cafe .And they sell good quality used and nearly new vehicles. There's a disabled toilet available too. Staff are always on hand to help you with any aspect of enquiry.

Went to view an auction with the view to buying a van. I arrived a little early and walked around all the lots to see if anything interested me. I was able to checkout all the lots and check mileages and view interiors during this time. when the auction began I watched what was going on and checked out the auction Terms and Conditions, I'm gad I did because I then realised that there was a sellers fee and VAT added to the hammer price. With this information I was able to adjust my upper limit to account for these additional charges. I managed to get a van that was Ideal for my needs. The staff there are extremely helpful and informative. I paid my deposit and arranged to collected my van the next day. When I went to collect my van the process was quick and efficient with no hassles. There is a cafe the if you get hungry during the auctions but it is quite expensive. I would recommend these auctioneers to all my friends.

Great service from the Team. Dean explained all we needed to know, very helpful. Bought a wheel chair access vehicle, our Mother has now been out of the house for the first time in 3 years, brilliant. With one word .... Liars! I bought a car in "perfect" condition as the spotter told me , but when I did a technical check few days after, the mechanic told me that the engine is burning oil, mixing water and I should think about new engine or full engine repair

Be very careful with photos of vehicles provided as the full extent of any scratches / dents may not be visible.
The description of the vehicle will also not provide clear details of the vehicle condition or any missing items like spare key or flat tyre kit. Essentially if it is not explicitly mentioned in the listing do not assume it's present. They are the opposite of eBay where the onus is on the seller to accurately represent the vehicle they work to maximise the return for the seller potentially at the buyers expense.

I spoke with Gareth at MMA Auctions. A truly genuine and very friendly and informative man. Uniquely, they offer so many ways to be able to buy a vehicle from them, which in this day and age is really very good and extremely customer friendly. All very personal and very nice indeed.

The easiest way to buy a car. I bid online just by the photos and descriptions, then spent 2 days panicking about what I bought, but I'm so pleased with my purchase. Collecting was a breeze, sign 2 forms pay for it and leave, very relaxed and no additional hard sell or optional extras, take the keys and drive away with a huge smile on your face. Price wise I looked around for an identical sale and found one double the price I paid, 100 miles away. There is a down side, you have to pay a deposit that you get back after you pay for the car, also the vat needs to be added to your bid. As long as you take this into consideration and don't go over your limit it's a great experience. I'll definitely go back and tell friends to have a look, but view the car first purely for the fact that you worry about what you've bought.
