We visited yesterday (Tuesday) for lunch. Ordered our food and within around 15 minutes we had our meals and they were perfect. Tasty and good portion size. Room temperature was nice and cosy for a winters day and the staff were very helpful and friendly. My daughter was especially pleased with the crayons she was given by a lovely member of staff. Thank you !

We had a great meal for an even better price. Great value and service. Thanks Tom you were great.

Visited on Saturday afternoon because my son saw the advert outside that you can have a paw patrol meal deal. He was made up. I had a burrito off the chefs special it was lovely. The one thing that stood out was a clear manager. He was running around taking food and you could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. It was great to see. Oh and they sell Diet Coke in bottles! Winner �

Popped in for a bit of lunch last week with my partner and new born baby. Ordered 2 meals of the 2 for 10 pound menu. After a couple of minutes of our food being delivered to us my partner received a phone call explaining a deaf in the family so we had to leave.



I felt bad leaving so much good as it didn't look good for the chef so I explained to the manager on shift of the situation.



Straight away the manager (Tom) expressed his sympathies to me and my partner and then proceeded to send me a voucher for 2 more meals which he did not have to do.



So we popped back tonight and before ordering I asked to speak to the manager to make sure we where able to use the voucher. To cut a long story short when I went to pay for our drinks he had cleared off all our food and drinks and again expressed his sympathies for our loss.



All in all amazing service and it shows not all company's are profit driven

Just been for our annual family Christmas lunch, and we had a fantastic time. Great food as always and they had decorated the table lovely for us, and had even set up crayons for our toddler. Well done again guys...highly recommend booking here for a Christmas party �

Booked and reserved a table for my daughters 16th birthday 🎉 arranged for table decorations etc and birthday cake to be dropped off before the arranged time .. arrived on time for the reserved table .. wow what can I say from entering to Leavin the whole experience was magnificent.staff were lovely and food was delicious .. would highly recommend to anyone to book for a special occasion :) well done mill house :)

Food was good , although Gammon and Steak was overcooked , service was good everyone was very friendly, we ALL enjoyed it .We will definitely be going again ( wish they did all day breakfast though ) !!

2nd time my wife and i have been. The bar staff were very friendly and polite. The food was hot and of a good standard.

Food was ok but was going to have a slush puppy and noticed that there were ants crawling round where the machine was,I pointed it out to a member of staff behind the bar, she said it's the slush machine and just sprayed something on it,if they are there it makes me think they could be elsewhere on the premises.

Very very dissapointed, steak was full of gristle and over half of it was inedible which is a poor show for one of the most expensive dishes on the menu and a gourmet burger that was burnt.. What a great birthday meal that was... Offered a complimentary free drink or dessert and as we wanted neither rather an empty gesture very dissapointed shan't be going again. Only reason it gets a 2 star is because the lamb was rather nice. Otherwise absolutely dreadful..

Refuse to swap items for chips. Usually its not a problem. They said this brand doesn't let you swap, yet the Offas Dyke 1 mile down the road, which is also Greene King are more than happy to swap items of similar value! Much better customer service and I will be going there from now on.

Been here lots of times over the years and it's just got worse and worse.....waiting times can be lengthy but yesterday on ordering off the 2 for 10 menu, my partners meal was fine but I was given half a chicken breast as a main meal....when complaining that I would like the other half if the chicken breast as for a 6.49 meal you would expect the whole chicken breast, the waitress kindly sorted it straight away n brought me the other half. The original portion wouldn't have been enough even for a child! It used to be chocker in there so I'm not surprised it was nearly empty this time on a Saturday night if the standard of portion size has reduced to sub standard! Will not be dining here again!

been tea time for tea i had mixed grill but had to send it back because most of it was not very hot !i order steak instead that was not very nice and fatty !chips were hard too !my boyfriend had chicken tikka which he said was ok !i am very disappointed as we eat here often it was one of my favourite places for steak but won't be coming back for a long time if at all !

Strawberry Woo Woo said Strawberry puree - well it was just strawberry syrup, very watery cocktail.

Gourmet Chips - what's gourmet about them ?

No chicken breast available so couldn't have the choice I wanted.



Food is just generally average, but I suppose at a reasonable price.



Window frames needed a good tidy up too but haven't been done, still quite shabby, décor still a bit poor,

Toilets looked no different if not worse, still the shabby looking hand dryer, always hard to get the toilet roll from those dispensers, taps still not working properly - getting stuck (that must make your water bill high ?),

empty soap containers, paper lying around.



Tables have been varnished that's something.



The new sign outside made me laugh, a lovely picture of a Mill House by a River - well this Mill House is not near a picturesque river at all.



Not really keen to go back, don't think the refurb has made it any better.



Rather travel a little further for somewhere nicer.

Partner and I visited for lunch ON Friday and both ordered the hunters chicken. Chicken was cold and watery. The diet coke was also flat and disgusting. Really awful food. Avoid

Food came out with in 5 mins. Mash was not real .. then we waited over 40 mins for the desert. When I asked where it was I got told sorry the till never printed it out. Cutlery was grubby. . Tin steak used for pie filling. still offering kids meals pay extra £1 and you get the paw patrol plate. Guess what still using menus but they stopped the plates ages ago..

All though it looked good its not that nice. Pub is lovely that's about it. Defiantly WON'T COME AGAIN.
