The name, Min y Don, translates from Welsh to mean 'at the edge of the waves', a name which beautifully describes our position on Llandudno's famous North Shore. Across the road from the Victorian pier entrance and promenade and only minutes from the Great Orme Tramway, Cable Car, shops, bars and restaurants, we are ideally located for your visit to this beautiful sea side town. Min y Don has operated as a hotel / guest house for many decades and was purchased in the Autumn of 2018 by Teresa and Rheinallt who saw an opportunity to provide outstanding accommodation at a reasonable price on the Llandudno Promenade. As experienced guest house owners and seasoned travellers, we appreciate the value of good quality accommodation, provision of excellent breakfast and, of course, a traditional "Welsh" welcome. We apply exactly the same standards we would expect to receive - not stuffy - just comfortable, friendly and wherever possible with that little "extra" touch of luxury and thoughtfulness that even the best 5 Star accommodations simply cannot provide. A program of refurbishment is underway to make Min y Don "top in class" in a wonderful location with some of the best views that Llandudno and its surrounding areas have to offer.
