Another week, gone! A big thank you to the 7 new carers that joined us for their 5 day training course this week, it's been a great week and we're all looking forward to working with you.
We've also had 5 of our existing carers come in to do their training updates. It's always nice to catch up with you guys when you are able to join us for re-training.

When I first started working with Miracle Worker's i was coming from abroad; I was by myself, and it felt like the step from Australia to the UK was a giant leap of faith. From the moment I began looking for prospective employers, I knew It was always important for me to find a company to work for that was warm, friendly, welcoming, and approachable. My intuition guided me to Miracle Worker's, and I'm so grateful that I followed it, as it was exactly what i was looking for, and I always felt supported in my role. They are flexible, and considerate of your circumstances, and I genuinely felt like they took me under their wing. Despite being experienced in support work services, I feel like i have learnt so much about my self, and have had the opportunity to take on so many valuable life lessons from my role. I am so grateful for the experience I've had with MW; I feel like I have grown infinitely; I have a stronger sense of self, and I feel so much wiser. I am grateful for all the places that I have been, and seen; homes that I have been welcomed into, but most importantly all the wonderful people who i have met on my path and have opened their hearts to me. I trusted Miracle Worker's, and the affect has been profound.

If you are considering doing live-in care work, or looking for a carer, i would not hesitate in recommending them. I would return in a heart beat.

Miracle Workers really were the answer to a prayer for my family! My mother had an unfortunate incident in the recovery room post-operation in hospital. She discharged herself and took a taxi home. We live abroad and were not able to take care of her and that is where Miracle Workers stepped in. They listened to what we needed/wanted and then more than delivered. We had two different carers over two weeks and my mother could not have been happier with them. I can not recommend them highly enough and my mother and i would be more than happy to turn to them again in the future!

Miracle Workers have been my source of inspiration since I arrived here nearly 6 years ago on my own from South Africa.. They been a tremendous support through all my rough patches and a great help with all the advice I may have needed as well.
