Worked in this venue last night and what a pleasure to do so. The staff from the very start where genuinely welcoming and very helpful. They couldn't of done enough to help. Yes many people would say it is their job to do so and many venues like robots but the staff are genuinely friendly and even went out of their way and beyond what they had to. They helped me carry equipment and make me tea & coffee... which they brung to me off their own back. Fantastic and the management should be aware of their excellent service. X

Where do i start, thank you so much for everything! Got married here on Saturday and everything was perfect from start to finish. Our wedding party literally took over the whole hotel all weekend and nothing was too much trouble. Our guests were absolutely amazed on how lovely this venue is. A special thanks must go out to housekeeping who will never forget the bride running round the morning of the wedding.. they were great and the rooms were all spotless!

Extra special thank you to Emily and Kimberly.. ladies you were so in control all weekend and anyone will tell you I am hard to please and you excelled all my expectations.. so thank you again.

Lots of love Mr & Mrs Davies 30.09.17

We had our wedding at Miskin Manor two weeks ago and it was brilliant from start to finish.

Emily and Kimberley, the Wedding co ordinators, were very efficient and our day ran smoothly.

The Ceremony and drinks reception were informal - just as we wanted it.

The Wedding breakfast meal was delicious and the portion sizes were excellent.

Nothing was too much trouble for any member of the team and they were all very approachable.

Everything about our day was just perfect. Many wedding guests commented on what a fabulous wedding it was and that they enjoyed every minute of being at the Manor.

We would definitely highly recommend the Manor as a wedding venue - it was amazing!

Thank you Miskin Manor.

We had our wedding at Miskin Manor on 28 August and we cannot praise the staff enough. We had the most wonderful day from beginning to end! The wedding breakfast room was set up to perfection with absolute seamless change over of the display. Nothing was too much trouble and they showed a lot patience when we ran behind schedule when taking photos. A special thank you to Emily and Stuart for making our day so very special!! Highly recommend as a wedding venue, and I'm sure all of our guests will agree!

User

Visited today for afternoon tea for my mam's birthday and it was fabulous, the waitress that looked after us for the afternoon was so lovely you should be happy you have her as a member of your staff. Thank you

User

Sunday lunch was simply delicious. Staff and food just amazing as a family we all thought it was fabulous and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Highly recommended

User

Just want to say thank you to the wonderful staff at Miskin Manor for a fantastic wedding yesterday! Everyone had such a fantastic time and everything was perfect!

User

Having a wonderful time at Miskin Manor for our Silver Wedding Anniversary. We can't fault it! The staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel and grounds are gorgeous. The room is perfect and the food is delicious. Some lovely touches too. We were given complimentary Prosecco because our desserts were a little delayed last night (we hadn't even complained) and came back to all lovely surprise today from housekeeping as they had made two towels into swans on the bed. We will definitely back!

User

Had an amazing time at ladies Ascot day. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Looking forward to next year.

Many thanks to the organisers

User

First time we stayed and we had just the best time from checking in to checking out, staff were so lovely definitely recommend to anyone and we are definitely looking forward to our next visit.

Thankyou to everyone 👏👏👏

User

Booked a beautiful rupunzle party with a real Ballarina at Miskin mannor hotel Clive was very attentive couldn’t fault his preparation in making the day special for our daughter thankyou !

User

At our daughter's recent wedding nothing was too much trouble. Even more unusual requests were accommodated. Many thanks to all concerned for making such a wonderful day, cannot recommend highly enough. The lawns were superb in the sunshine.

User

As soon as we arrived at Miskin Manor, we knew it was the venue we wanted for our wedding. The grounds and building are spectacularly beautiful - all year round. The coordinators could not have done more for us, making our day run smoothly, leaving my new husband and I to enjoy our wedding without any stress. The staff put each room together amazingly, making our day more beautiful than we could have imagined. The food was AMAZING, absolutely delicious, with good sized portions. We could not have dreamt for a more perfect day. Special thanks to Emily and Kimberley who are amazing at what they do. We felt completely confident in their ability to decorate and manage our wedding from start to finish.

User

Amazing day today with friends and work colleagues. The food was divine and the staff extremely friendly and attentive. Stunning surroundings also. Can’t wait to come back to visit.

User

We had a nice time at Miskin Manor the food and service was great. Beautiful surroundings and history in the main building. The room was olde worlde. The room was cold even the heater was on. Two lamps had no bulbs in them and made the room quite dark. But overall enjoyed our stay.

User

Hotel beautiful, staff freindly and food great. The grounds are stunning. 11/10.

Didn't use the pool this visit. The Beauty shop is a concession not run by the hotel. The staff there were very accomodating, but sadly my therapist buffed my toes so hard that she broke the skin on two of them. Didn't want to create a fuss as I had to get back to the room to get ready for the wedding. 2/10

Met a friend for lunch. We wanted to sit at a table rather than eat in a comfy chair with a low coffee table. We ate in the restaurant. One other couple had afternoon tea at lunchtime. So only two covers in the restaurant. We had to wait in the bar area to look at the menu. We could hardly hear ourselves speak because of the noise of the ice machine being used to make ice for a wedding party.

We chose our food but then we're told that only one portion was available. That was a vegetarian option . Fortunately neither of us was vegetarian otherwise it would have been difficult to serve us. The noise was so bad that we went into the restaurant uninvited.

The waitress seemed rather flummoxed initially and was very apologetic about the noise and the food choice. We wondered whether we had made a mistake in going there for lunch!

When the food finally came it was hot, tasty and most enjoyable. Maybe the Parma ham around the chicken was a little dry and maybe the baby leeks were stringy but the chicken was moist and tender and the boulangere potatoes were lovely.. My companion was happy with the vegetable Wellington. The desserts were very good and the citrus pannacotta outstanding.

Our waitress was very friendly and was relaxed after the initial problems. Hotel policy meant that she hadn't sampled any of the food herself which seems a shame as this often helps diners with food choices.

It is a pleasant old hotel ,attractive gardens, easy access from junction 34 of the motorway and I have always been able to park. Excellent place for a coffee and a chat but if you want lunch you probably need to book ahead and warn them.

User

Came for the NYE Cinderella Murder Mystery (Pantomime fancy dress) and must admit feel pretty disappointed by the evening really.

We were pretty much the second family to arrive and felt like complete idiots being fully dressed as a scarecrow, Dorothy and characters from Grease!! Talk about standing out like a sore thumb!!

Everybody that arrived after us were dressed as James Bond and miss money-penny I think? Perhaps we were the ones that missed the brief but wasn't this supposed to be panto themed? I had visions of Aladdin, Snow White, panto baddies and a few fellas dressed as the ugly sisters. Nope, I couldn't have been further from that.

The success of the evening was clearly the actors who'd been brought in as the entertainment. Their enthusiasm and patience with the stupid guy near to us (who was the only one laughing at his own failed jokes)

The DJ was a bit of a let down with regards to ringing in the New Year. You'd think that would be his moment to shine but no, it was really an anti-climax to be honest.

Food: ok, pretty tasteless really. Good quantity however which often isn't the case on this sort of bash.

Staff: Excellent and very friendly from beginning to end.

After our NYE party last year in Swansea Marriott this was a bit of a let down and on speaking to other guests there seemed to be a lot of confusion as to whether they should dress in fancy dress or smartly (as James Bond)

User

Unfortunately my experience with the afternoon tea was disappointing. We were served sour milk with our drinks and had half eaten our food by the time fresh tea and coffee was served. There was a wedding on that day and was understaffed . I have sent two e mails to management and to date have not even received a courtesy reply. We were there on 7th July and my second e mail was sent this Monday 23rd July.....
