Who is Miss Semedo?
I'm a mother of a 4 years old boy and a girl which she's 2 years old and has a genetic condition called Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. Life gave me challenges but gave strength too.
How Miss Semedo was born?
Miss Semedo Creations was born as part of my personal "therapy" and as a hobby to relief the stress of daily life but soon I realised I could do something big and special from it. I have an inspiration in my own family and from that my creations are proving a success within business.
Most of my creations are made with African fabric. You are probably asking why. Well I was born in Portugal (now living in UK) but my parents are from Africa, Cape Verde, so it's part of my roots. My creations are the result of this mixed of cultures. The passion and love for the African culture made me want to share it and give to the world a 'taste' of it through these vibrant and colourful African fabric items.
At the moment I'm doing a Social Psychology degree and I want to succeed as well as a business woman. I believe it's never too late to follow and achieve our dreams!
