Founded by three challenge junkies who have covered over 50, 000 miles through 41 countries and 3 Oceans using non mechanised transport between them, Monkey Fist Adventures was created with one thing in mind: To make adventure meaningful and accessible. Through personal experience we know how difficult it can be to plan, fund and execute a successful project. Adventure, Good. Experiences, Good. Health and mental wellbeing, Good. Sitting at home on the sofa eating crappy food watching mind numbing box sets and not realising your potential or experiencing what the world has to offer? Bad. Ok, so maybe adventure isn't for every single person on the planet and there most definitely are some couch potatoes who would be more than happy to never leave the house, but for the other 95% ? That first step down the road less travelled can be a daunting one. Because of this Monkey Fist Adventures has made it their mission to: Connect a community that can share their experiences and provide free advice for each other. Enable people to find challenges to be a part of regardless of age, sex, race, religion or ability. Help teams and individuals mould their challenges to become more attractive to corporates sponsors for funding. Promote the use of adventure to further research and raise awareness in the fields of medical and environmental studies. Use adventure to help raise funds for charity. We believe that adventure has the ability to enrich peoples lives and broaden their horizons. And the best part? We can help others while we do it.
