Emergency services are currently advising residents of Riverside Residential Park to leave their homes due to the flood risk

The B4347 at Newcastle was closed from 7pm on Friday, 20th September due to a one vehicle RTC. A section of telegraph pole was damaged and the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service closed the road until BT replaced the pole. Drivers heading from Monmouth were advised to approach Skenfrith and Cross Ash via an alternative route. The driver was attended to by paramedics at the scene. The road is now open
