Watch out Chepstow! You will be invaded this weekend! That's right, it's the weekend of Hoggin the Bridge. Get your leathers out and join 100's bikers in Chepstow to raise funds for selected charities... lets see if we can beat the £15, 500 raised last year!!!

Did anyone visit Tintern during the Michaelmas Festival? I attended the tour of the Abbey on Sunday afternoon and it was absolutely amazing- the weather really made the day extra special and the Abbey was swarming with people! Congratulations to John and the team!

Walkers put their feet up to reminisce
Guests at a special celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Offa’s Dyke National Trail in Chepstow included members of the Lower Wye Ramblers who completed the entire 177-mile walk last year.
The 32-strong group range in age from 49-81 years, and members believe they could be the largest group with the highest average age ever to undertake the whole walk.

For all those that attended the Offa's Dyke Celebrations last week, a great big thank you for the support and we hope you enjoyed the party as much as we did!! A big thumbs up to the Drill hall for providing the bar, a huge cheer for Shootin' the Crow (what a fab band!!), a massive belly rumble for the Afon Gwy for providing the biggest banquet the world has ever seen and a lovely pat on the back for all the lovely people who made it happen!!

Monmouth is the only place to be this Thursday! It's Monmouthshire Show day and promises not to disappoint with the usual dog, horse and livestock parades, masses of trade stands, hunting displays, marquees selling everything from crafts and household items ro horticulture and local produce. The realy show stopper, one I wouldn't like to miss is the display from Broke FMX- a 25 minute motorbike stunt show held only thice during the day- make sure to get your pace ring side!!
