Yesterday, we sadly said Goodbye to two of our wonderful Optometrists, Lisa and Ceri Probert. They will be deeply missed by us and their loyal patients, but they are off to embark upon new and exciting adventures of their own! We wish them all the luck and happiness in the world. 😊
Filling their shoes, we welcome two new Optometrists to our practice, Dr Helen Owens and Mr Wayne David! 😁 you will be able to read all about them on our website soon!

Our Coffee morning went really well this year! We managed to raise £89.08 for Macmillan Cancer Support. 🍪🍰🥧🍫 We had our competition running, which was won by one of our lovely members of staff (she has kindly donated the prize money to Macmillan of course). Thank you to each and every one of you who bought a cake, took part in the competition or just donated! Your help makes a huge difference to those facing cancer. Thank you. ❤️

The answer to yesterdays question was indeed the Colossal Squid! With eyes 28cm in diameter or more!!! 😲
The rare colossal squid is known to descend to depths of up to 6,500 feet, using the large lenses of its eyes to help capture light in the dark depths where it hunts. This is the largest known invertebrate in existence and thought to reach lengths of up to 46 feet. 🦑🐋🐬
