Oh what another cracking weekend at Morwelon been going there for 42 years yes it is basic and you pay for the views just a brill site xx

Plenty of space to pitch up our tent and the staff were very nice but was kinda put off by the fact you had to pay 50p to be clean. It's not much to pay admittedly but ya know. Other than that, I'd definitely go back!

This is a beautiful place however it is a very wet and boggy site. The first night we arrived we had to be towed to the top of the hill by the owners as our car got stuck in the mud, luckily our party in the other car just managed to get up the hill. We wanted to go for a drive the next day but didn't want to risk taking the cars off site incase we got stuck again as the owners leave the site by 5. Nothing was done to prevent anyone else churning up the mud for the week we stayed which resulted in a very unpleasent walk to the toilets trying to avoid getting muddy or slipping. The toilets are at the bottom of the campsite down the hill which we felt were a bit of a treck away especially when you have small kids if you are put at the top. It's a very friendly campsite, the owners very pleasant and the toilet facilities nice and clean. Views are amazing but the campsite could have a lot more done to it as in path ways and maybe roads to stop the muddy/boggy situation as surely this must be like this every year and possibly have a toilet put at the top of the site. No shop onsite so a walk into town,no clothes washing facilities so very bog standard and the showers cost 50p for 6 mins. Restaurant/cafe very expensive and closes very early in the day so make sure you are stocked up on food. Other than that we made it a good holiday and the beach is awesome.

Fabulous location and spacious pitch. Staff were very friendly, informative and willing to give their time to make our stay perfect. Booked one night but stayed two.

What a lovely campsite this is. Yes, it's got only basic facilities but they are clean and tidy. The owners are welcoming and freindly. There is no phone reception and no adventure playground but you don't need all that, this site is a beautiful break from the rat race. There is 240v hook up but no areal although our van areal picked up BBC channels occasionally. The camping field is well maintained and the one of the best campsite views in Pembrokeshire across Newport Beach. There's a approx 3 mile walk up and down the parrog to get to the beach (take supplies) and a few good pubs and cafes in the nearby town which is a 15min walk from the site. There is the on site cafe, which we didn't eat at, but looks really nice and gets good reviews. Also, there is a nearby shire horse farm which is a good day out for young families. We will definitely be returning.

Everyone talking negatively about the facilities obviously never does any genuine camping. This place was well maintained for sure. It's a great location: you feel like you're far out, but you're just up the street from some great pubs and cafes; it's right next to the best part of the coast trail; and the way is clearly marked with signs pointing toward the campsite.

The proprietor was so lovely. She checked in on me and helped me out since I was on my own. I'm already planning a return trip!

Lovely location, nice campsite but terrible facilities. Showers and toilets are awful and very dingy- plus 50p charge.

Perfect for children etc and great access to the beach but it needs a major refurb
