Went here for the first time yesterday after a disastrous hair cut 2 months ago at another salon. All the girls are lovely, friendly & fun. Sarah did my cut & blow dry which I was very pleased with & hopefully after another cut my hair will be back to normal. Thanks girls! x

I'm happy with my hair on every visit. My hair looked amazing.
I visit this salon often and never had an issue.
Staff are nice and friendly. I recommend this salon, it's a shame it's not noticeable from outside.

Biggest disappointment of my life. Today which was meant to be a happy day for me it got ruined by this salon. I went in for Brazilian Blow Dry which advertised in the website for £100. after 4 hours of a job i was told i got to pay £200 just because the girl was too slow in blow drying my hair, hence she took very long to finish it off. I am really utterly disappointed but i learnt a big lesson. never TRUST online prices and always always AGREE on the price before starting anything. will never forget this experience ever. Will never recommend it to anybody. Integrity and transparency are very important in any business. Very Sad I Am.

Went in for a lunchtime haircut and was ushered to a seat with a rude "Sit down over there". I thought 'okay, perhaps they're just having a bad day. Benefit of the doubt.'

Brunette hairdresser (I believe was called Marie) asked me how I wanted my hair by literally saying, very abruptly "how do you want it?" When I replied with uncertainty "umm, a number 1 or 2 please", she demanded "well which is it? 1 or 2?" This line of questioning set the tone, and I should have walked out there and then. But unlike her, I'm not an inherently rude person, so I stayed.

I showed her a photo of a hairstyle I wanted, and she took one look and said 'no problem'. I'd like to point out that she wasn't being short or blunt because of a language barrier - she's Welsh and speaks full English. She's just rude.

Most hairdressers will make you feel comfortable and at-ease, and if you're unsure about length they'll suggest that they cut at a longer length first, and if you'd still like to go shorter then do the shorter length. Not this one. Marie went straight for the shortest #1 cut all around the sides of my head, and here's the best bit - I wish I was exaggerating this but I'm not: she grabbed my head roughly and, in under 10 seconds, had cut most of my hair off carelessly in 7 large clumsy strokes.

I was appalled. But by that point, I couldn't say anything as I needed her to fix the rest of it, so I tried to make conversation (isn't it usually the hairdresser who should initiate conversation with the customer?). I asked her two polite questions, to which she replied bluntly, sour-faced and short replies. I gave up after that and sat through the ordeal in silence, wanting it to be over as soon as possible. The only time she did talk, was when she stopped in the middle of my haircut and had a 5 minute argument with a colleague, while me and the other customer looked at each other in surprise and shock.

Afterwards I compared my hair to that of the original photo I showed her. The sides looked fairly similar, but the top looked dreadful. Most hairdressers will A) show you the back in a mirror for you to confirm you're happy with it and B) take time making sure the top is symmetrical. She did neither. I now have lopsided hair at different lengths each side, and with clumpy patches sticking up randomly on the top. Horrendous.

Clearly this is a business that
A) doesn't care about its customers, and sees them as profit dispensers
B) is only afloat because there are plenty of people in Cardiff who think "I know, I haven't been there before. Let's try that hairdressers."

I doubt they have many returning customers. Maybe that's why they're all so miserable. I didn't see a single smile the whole time I was there, except for when Marie's face lit up when I handed in my money.

In short: DO NOT GO HERE. Save yourself a horribly rude experience and the embarrassment of a bad haircut, and go somewhere nicer. I hope this place either learns how to treat customers, or shuts down before it can do any more damage.

A really good and easy salon. They fit me in for a last minute appointment for a cut and blow dry and did a really good job. Definitely going there again.
