Morrigan South Down Flock

South Down sheep, easy care, ideally suited as family sheep that beginners and kids can get involved with. Placid, sensible and easy to handle.

This is just a page to tell you about our sheep and the fun we have with them. South Downs have a lovely nature, very friendly and easy to handle. Ideal for first timers of people who just want to keep a few sheep as pets or grass land management. There are 2 other flocks that I know of on Anglesey and on the nearby mainland. One flock in Bodfordd and another near Dinas, Caernarfon.
There are classes for the South Down at Anglesey County show, there have been entries every year that we have been to see them. We rear all our ewe lambs to use as breeding stock and we home kill our ram lambs for our own use.
