Cardiac department is very thorough, with staff friendly and helpful. Vast improvement from what I had from St Peters in Surrey 👍🏼

Depends which department. Outpatients good. A&E under staffed.

Waiting for my wife's final reconstructive surgery.
Told to be here for 7.30am ready for op and she is told we are second in the queue.
After waiting for 4 hours the person in front has just gone in for a two hour op.
Why on earth get us in so early? Staff are uncommunicative and further, expect us to be grateful.
After a long line of cancer treatment Im genuinely sorry that the experience of the NHS is one of poor care and equally poor management. The stuff I have seen isn't difficult ( or expensive) to fix but nobody seems to care. Simple scheduling techniques would solve this current issue for example.
The Morriston is better I suppose, than the Heath, but that isn't saying much.
Do yourself a favour - don't get ill!

Staff are rude and unhelpful to family members, lack of communication is disgusting! We will be making a formal complaint

I have now found out a hospital gown covered in faeces and dirty wound dressings where left on the floor in my Aunties bed space whilst she is trying to fight an infection. Furthermore medicine cabinets that were supposed to be locked were left open and unsupervised. I work for the NHS and the Staff there do not know how to provide basic care and where unapologetic! Appalling!

Parking is also ridiculous with people having no choice but to leave their cars on double yellow lines and in the bus stops

I've stayed in this hospital many times to have complicated operations done by absolutely amazing consultants/surgeons who was alway up front with me never hid anything from me. With a kind and caring manner. Also all the nurses couldn't do enough for me. With such polite manners and caring ways couldn't thank then enough. Keep up the good work. Doing a wonderful job guys. Thank you

Staff are very nice, I would advice if possible you use public transport (if your able of course), very good bus links.

Absolutely ridiculous, I have been a patient on and off here since 2003 and when I was a teenager I couldn't fault the hospital. Now however they don't seem to care when you need their help, they treat me like an inconvenience. They are rude, unsympathetic, unhelpful and not very forth coming with the duties they are responsible for. If they would let me transfer to Bristol then I would, but they won't even let me do that. So disappointed in the staff.

Bloody terrible - Morriston deserve a kick up the arse!!! My son has a 10cm (4 inch) carcinoma on his kidney that was detected on the 13th December. Its now nearly two months on, and he has had no treatment and is still waiting for urgent surgery. He had a opp date for last Friday, which was cancelled at very short notice and rebooked for yesterday, which was again cancelled and rebooked for today. He was admitted today after being nill by mouth and was due to have his anaesthetic when the op was cancelled AGAIN and he has been given a new date for later this week. How do they define urgent - two months - do they want it to spread!!! NOT BLOODY HAPPY!!!

Fantastic staff dealing with our youngest daughter's health. Brilliant surgeon in Dr Drake, who is an invaluable asset to the NHS.
