Mosaic Church Bangor

Welcome to Mosaic Church Bangor! We meet at 10. 30am on Sundays in Ysgol Friars, Bangor.

Mosaic Church has sprung out of a merger between Bangor Community Church and Hope Church. We believe that all of us have a part to play, however big or small that may be, and in Christ, all our personalities, brokenness, gifts and skills can be brought together to make a beautiful picture to glorify Him.

We are a lively, family church with a relaxed, informal and contemporary style, keen to reach the people of Bangor and around with the truth, life and hope of the Christian gospel. We meet on Sundays at 10. 30am in Ysgol Friars and in midweek groups in homes. You would be very welcome to join us!

Students are an integral part of our family and we encourage them to share in the life of the church. During term time approximately half of the people present on a Sunday will be students and many play an active role in the ministry of the church.

We have certain beliefs and values which determine how we want to live together.

We are evangelical. We are members of the Evangelical Alliance and are committed to certain beliefs as set out in their Basis of Faith (www. eauk.org/about /basis-of-faith. cfm) and shared by the vast majority of Evangelicals worldwide. These beliefs include the divine inspiration and supreme authority of the Bible as the foundation of all that we believe.

We are charismatic. We believe that the life of God comes to us through the Holy Spirit and we want to experience God’s manifest presence as we worship and pray. We see the Holy Spirit’s ministry and gifts in the daily life of the believer and the church as a key to holiness, fruitfulness and effective mission.
