Put the plus tyres back on the bike and had a cracking evening ride round Coed-y-Brenin with Cadair Idris looking supreme in the evening light before the final #adamsfamily descent back to Mostyn Cottage. Not another rider around, even on a bank holiday weekend.

We had a great day yesterday covering the hills south of Mostyn Cottage on the first mountain stage of the The Snowdonia Way. Some great scenery and good to explore a bit of the #dyfi forest into Abergwynolwyn, and good to use the local bus service to access the route from home.

It has been great to see such a wide variety of riders riding past us on the new loop of the MinorTaur Trail here in Coed y Brenin. Plenty of family groups out enjoying the weather and trails, looking forwards to seeing more over the Easter weekend. We even had a Wight Mountain jersey riding up the track! There comes a time every spring when we pack away our winter kit (keeping it close to hand just in case), and get out the summer bike jerseys and running t shirts ready, just in case. Having spent the last two days on foot and bike around Cadair Idris in some great conditions, that time is now.
We apologise for any bad weather that is about to happen!
