Discounts on the farm ride/xc course Excellent hacking with access to lots of bridle paths Lots of competitions and clinics going on during the spring/summer Wash area for the horses Tea room and ladies & gents toilets. All prices include unlimited straw bedding.

Well, sadly the weather has beaten us - too wet and wild to set up for our Celebrity Quiz Fun Ride. After such an amazing summer, I guess we can't be too disappointed! Surprisingly, the going on the Farm Ride and Cross Country remains really good. If anyone feels inclined to brave the wind and rain, give Geoff a ring or text on 07765 402738. Hopefully next week will be more settled!

Sadly, given the wet weather today, and awful weather forecast for tomorrow morning, we are having to postpone our Celebrity Quiz Fun Ride scheduled for tomorrow. Sorry folks! We are hoping to be able to run it next Saturday (13th October) - the week ahead looks pretty ok weatherwise. Watch this space for confirmation. The Farm Ride and Cross Country will be open as usual this weekend - despite the weather, the going is great!

Fun Ride at Mostyn Farm Ride on Sunday 2 September - 9.00 a.m. onwards. Come and enjoy the beautiful Mostyn Estate - the ride will be approx. 9 miles incorporating parts of the Estate previously not available for our Fun Rides. The ride will start at the Farm Ride reception (CH8 9AR), and will include parts of the Farm Ride, the Cross Country Training area, and Mostyn Estate. What a day! Fantastic day of competition yesterday in the Xpress Event! A HUGE thank you to all volunteers, and of course all competitors, who made the day so special. Well done everyone!! Cracking on with preparations for Sunday's Xpress Event! 60cm class will be very kind - got to encourage grass roots riders! Other classes are 70cm, 80cm, 80cm pairs and 90cm. Entries close tomorrow - 16th August. Entry form available on the Flint and Denbigh Riding Club website

A BIG-thank you to everyone who came along and supported last Sunday the Charity show jumping and dressage event in aid of Pancreatic Cancer. Absolutely brilliant facility! Beautiful views. Fences from beginning to end and plenty for all abilities. I particularly liked that they had some technical XC fences like a corner but a small enough one for real novices. Great length of gallop track and good ground. Friendly helpful staff. Cannot fault the place. We will definitely be coming back.
