Mount Pleasant

The owner was friendly but that was really all I could say positively.
The dining room was damp. There was a fusty damp smell as we walked through the front door.
The rooms were ok but our room faced the front and the wallpaper on the outside wall was peeling off.
The handrail for the steps coming into the house was broken which my mother needed. She was told that it was supposed to be fixed the day before but in the days we were there it wasn't fixed.
Sorry but to be honest I don't think I would stay here again.

Awful telephone manner and just downright rude - I simply asked f they had a room available for the following night and was abruptly told I must be joking!

Just spent a fantastic weekend here while walking up Snowdon on Saturday and Sunday! yes we did it twice. The place is great and they could not do enough for us, a great little bar where you can unwind have a few drinks after a long day out hiking. The food is top notch especially the fab breakfast in the morning to set you for the day, even made us a pack lunch. We will be staying here again

Avoid, avoid, avoid. I had a bad feeling just going through the front door. The place is very worn and tired, and a little grubby. Always a bad sign when the owners can be bothered to give badly battered doors etc. a simple lick of paint. We were shown to an attic room with a tiny window, the 'ensuite shower' being a shower cubicle in the corner of the room, the tiling so bad it looked as if a blind person had done it, But we shrugged and said 'OK its only for a night or two'. What decided it the pubic hair staring at us when we pulled back the duvet. 'I changed the sheets' said the proprietor, 'it must have gotten through the wash'. Yeah, right. To get an impression of what this place is like, those of a certain age only have to think back to the '70's TV sitcom 'Rising Damp'
