Jacquie and David have owned the Mount Pleasant for 25 years; situated at
the heart of Llanberis, Snowdon's village. It was originally built in the 18th century as a quarry manager’s house.
Llanberis is an ideal place to stay to conquer Snowdon, Yr Wyddfa in Welsh. If you don't fancy the walk the Snowdon Mountain Railway will take you effortlessly to the summit.
Other attractions are the Lake Railway, Slate Museum, Ropes and Ladders and Snowdonia Star cruiser at Gilfach Ddu. Dolbadarn Castle and Electric Mountain are close by. Climbing, canoeing, and scuba diving can all be arranged.
Caernarfon Castle is 7 miles away, as is the terminus of the Welsh Highland Railway. Other places of interest are the City of Bangor 12 miles, Llandudno 25 miles, Betws y Coed 16 miles, Beddgelert 15 miles and the best kept secret in Wales, Dinas Dinllech beach 10 miles.
