We have been on a long journey the last 9 months, and this journey has taken us to places we didn't think we would excel and thrive in. We also have learned so many things along the way. When we took on Mt.Bistro we had plans to introduce our meal prep and a Nutri Menu asap to interlink with our Gym.
What we didn't know is that our Afternoon Tea Events would be so popular, even to the extent now we are turning people away or re adjusting our diary. Thank you Barry and the Va...le for this amazing support!

What are the benefits of this exercise?
... ✅ Increasing lower body strength, primarily in the quads, glutes, and hamstrings ✅Increasing core strength, particularly the anterior core. ✅Building muscle fat loss (if your diet and exercise routines are conducive to fat loss). How do you perform a back squat?
1- Setup. Face the bar. Grab it tight with a medium grip. 2- Unrack. Move your feet under the bar. Unrack it by straightening your legs. 3- Squat. Take a big breath, hold it and Squat down. 4-?Break Parallel. Squat down until your hips are below your knees. 5- Squat Up. Break parallel then Squat back up.

So this weeks HOMEWORK team for my weights crew is:
Stair Jumps x twice a week
... Complete a full set of stairs as a pyramid set. So jump to first step, jump back, jump up two steps jump back two and so on until you reach the top. (Please be careful and walk back if your not confident on your steps)
We are working on the glute muscle so ensure your squat jump is low and go for elevation too.
P.s anyone can take part in thi but I will be checking with the weights guys if they completed there homework next week 🙂

😵The Deadlift😵
How?
... •Walk to the bar. Stand with your mid-foot under the bar.
•Grab the bar. Bend over without bending your legs.
•Bend your knees. Drop into position by bending your knees until your shins touch the bar.
•Lift your chest. Straighten your back by raising you chest.
•Pull. Take a big breath, hold it and stand up with the weight.
What are the benefits of a deadlift?
1. Increased Fat Burning Lifting weights and resistance training will burn more fat than just dieting or dieting with cardio exercise alone.
2. Better Posture Deadlifting increases your core strength and adds to core stability. Deadlifting targets all of the muscles responsible for your posture and enables you to keep your back straighter during regular daily activities.
3. More Muscles Worked The Deadlift works more muscles than any other exercise, including the squat. The lift engages all of the major muscle groups. If you need to do one exercise, this is the one to do. The Deadlift works your lower and upper body, including your back muscles.
4.It’s Safe(surprisingly as the name sounds) The Deadlift is one of the safest weightlifting exercises you can perform. You aren’t going to get pinned under the weight or have to worry about it pulling you over backwards. If you get into trouble, you can simply drop it…making for a loud bang, no doubt, but no damage. You also don’t have to have a spotter to perform this exercise.
5.Increased Cardio Believe it or not, doing 10 repetitions of Deadlifts will increase your cardiovascular ability. You might want to make sure you have somewhere to sit down when you’re done!
6.Prevents Injury The Deadlift can help prevent injuries by increasing the strength of your muscles around critical tendons and ligaments. Supporting joints with strong muscles is crucial to preventing injury, especially in the hamstrings and lower back.

Since then they have grown from strength to strength developing their training sessions to what is currently their own very unique style. Every session is different so you never feel like your doing the same thing like most places.



Their value for money is second to none and I would recommend them highly. James and Stacey are dedicated, knowledgable trainers that go out of their way to ensure every member is getting out of their sessions what they want.



People shouldn't be put off by their own personal fitness level, everyone helps each other out but most of all everyone seems to have FUN!!!



The new addition to the pro symmetry armoury - "Powermetrix" was awesome and another opportunity for people to push their limits even further. Glad to be part of the journey that they are on.
