We took our 10 month old Border Collie puppy for her first hair cut to Mucky Pups last weekend. We phoned on the Saturday about getting an appointment and although they were fully booked, with the weather reaching such high temperatures the lady I spoke to on the phone kindly squeezed us in the same day! The service is amazing and they clearly care about the dogs. We really appreciated being fitted in the same day. Our Willow looks absolutely gorgeous now she’s had a trim and it has really helped with the heat we’ve been having.

When we arrived to collect Willow she was having a great time playing with the other doggies that were there which makes the whole thing a fabulous experience.

Thank you so much, we will definitely be recommending this dog groomer and will be visiting again soon!

We have used mucky pups grooming services for our springer spaniel max,max received a lovely cut,and staff paid attention to what was asked for as we didn’t want him to just have a typical short all over style. The staff listened and gave us Just what was asked of them,the products used were high quality and left him smelling lovely and the little bandana was a cute touch.

Attentive and helpful staff,fast to respond to any enquiries and acommaditing with appointments,5* service!

Puppy Pomeranian first time at the groomers! Everyone was lovely, very happy customer and puppy! Perfect for the anxious/excited dog! I will be returning soon! 🐶💖

I find it disgusting that friends & family of the dog owners who are making claims against "mucky pups" are jumping on the band wagon to slander and drag this palours name through the mud when they have never been to this palour before themselves. While you maybe defending your family or friend, remember there is 2 sides to every story and the most probable one is the fact that the dog owners failed to notce thier dogs skin condition and placed the blame elsewhere, that being the palour... Shameful if you ask me!

My boys always look incredible when they leave this salon.

The girls work so hard on them to make sure they look their very best. We have been taking our boys here for just over a year now would never take them anywhere else.

They got attacked a few months back couldn't be around other dogs, but the girls here took extra care and time with them and Leanne treated them like little princes.

Tegan (probably spelt wrong) is practically a dog whisperer. My boys hide under the pink chairs when I take them there but as soon as they see Tegan their tails start wagging. The other girls are fantastic as well but my boys seem to have a thing to Tegan.

Milo had his 1st visit to Mucky pups Chepstow today, and he looks absolutely gorgeous. The service was exceptional. Milo can be quite nervous but was fine when I left him. The staff are very professional and explained the process to me and let me have a look around. He’s already booked in for his 2nd visit. I highly recommend Mucky Pups and won’t be taking Milo anywhere else.

Managed to get a last minute appointment today for our Welshie and we were not disappointed on our first visit.. great service and booked for a full groom in 6 weeks time! Klein looks and smells amazing ! Thanks a lot

I’m absolutely in love with mucky pups the salon is out of this world and all the girls are amazing not only the talent they show in their work but the way they are with the dogs and clients. I can say from first hand experience that all the lucky pooches who get the amazing opportunity to be groomed here have more than a 5star treatment. Leanne has personally gone above and beyond to make this salon and her staff the best in the industry, the amount of time money and energy she has put in just shows in all the amazing reviews on here. I've know Leanne for many years. Unprofessional and immature are so far from the truth. She's successful not only because of a determination I could only wish to withhold, but because of a heart the size of the ocean. Her people skills and love for animals are why she owns three successful salons. If a dog was injured at her premises, she would be mortified, apologetic and would 100% have done all she could to make up for it. Keep at it flan-ann. Give me a big, determined heart over a bitter, jealous one any day x

I've just got home from my first visit to Mucky Pups in Chepstow with my 14 week old standard poodle. He looks absolutely gorgeous and was so happy bouncing around with the other dogs when I came to collect him! The women are lovely and were so informative on how best to keep my pups coat in check. Thank you so much for making his first experience at a groomers a happy one :) look forward to seeing you in 4 weeks xx

Harry our Bichon Frise has been going to Mucky Pups for about two years now and have always had lovely cuts, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. We telephoned last week for an appointment as it was hot and although busy fitted us in, and again had a brilliant cut. Would recommend Mucky Pups to everyone.

Harlequins and mine first visit today to the salon was an eye opener. We have been to several salons finding the one that suits us best, she was allowed to wander around in a big open space while I was asked a few questions as to her skin, anything the girls should know medically before harley had her bath and groom. I was shown around and explained what different equipment they used and then discussed harlequins cut as we have had many misadventures with other salons in the past... Gingerly leaving and wondering what I was going to walk back too to go an hours shopping I left harley in capable hands... I was so pleased with the way she looked they listened to what I said and she was perfect with a little pink knotted scarf too top off her new hairstyle... Not only that they proceeded to inform me how well behaved she was and offered a promotion for every 4 weeks which I think is exceptional... Thank you girls and see you in 4 weeks... Super job x x

For those who have anxious dogs (or for anxious owners!) this is the place for you. I'm referring to the Chepstow branch. I take my Miniature Schnauzer in regularly and I no longer have the brushing battles that we used to. She looks absolutely beautiful from visit to visit (every four weeks). Today I took my very, very nervous Labradoodle in for the first time. She has come from a puppy farm and is terrified of pretty much everything. Despite this, she coped really well with the help of the genuine dog lovers who work there. She looks 100% better as a result of her visit and she has a spring to her step. Thank you to all the staff in Chepstow. I wholeheartedly recommend this team and next time I will return with my other Labradoodle too :)

Excellent friendly and genuinely passionate staff members. They did not stop fussing over my dog when she went for her groom which of course she loved! She was looked after with an excellent overall service and groom. I booked her in again on the four week scheme and I couldn’t believe the price and savings - definitely worth doing! She even came away with a gorgeous collar bandana. I can’t wait to bring her back again. Thanks Mucky Pups!!
