Free Children's Festive Lantern Workshop on again tomorrow at Caerphilly Leisure Centre!
With little man poorly today, me and my big girl broke up the day by attending this free event while my husband took over. I'd really recommend it if youre looking for something festive to do indoors tomorrow. Unfortunately we won't be able to make the River of Light Display on Thursday but could still take part in the workshop and got to bring our lanterns home, complete with little light inside.

You all know how much I love making playdough! 😂
The recipes I use predominantly come from The Imagination Tree. These festive doughs smell delicious, are long lasting if stored well, are cheap to make and baby friendly!
... Take a look at the link below and get experimenting at home. The children will often enjoy helping you make it too. My personal favourites are candy cane (peppermint essence), gingerbread, chocolate pudding and pine.
Options with accessories are endless. Pop it in a decorated jar and gift some to a friends child, neighbour or use as a stocking filler.

Hi everyone!
Unfortunately I have to wave the white flag and give in! I thought that I would be able to run at least a couple more groups, but after a weekend of back to back parties, I'm now agreeing with my family and feel it could be a bit much.
... I so wanted to start the festive celebrations with you all before having a break! In truth, I cant touch my toes or sit up in bed by myself, let alone clean up after sensory play and lift boxes up and down the stairs. For this reason, MM will now finish for a few months while I have a break and get to grips with having a new baby in the household (tips on managing 3 children and being completely outnumbered appreciated!! What were we thinking!?! 😂 🙈). I hope that this won't bring too much disappointment! I feel terrible finishing group in this way!
However, in the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger (yes I had to Google spell that! 😂) "ILL BE BACK!" and I can't wait to see how much the tiny ones have all grown when we start back next year!
Musical Mayhem sessions will hopefully begin again in March 👏 🎉 In addition, the 2019 diary is filling up with bookings for parties and events, so please don't be afraid to get in touch if you would like a slot.

Another weekend jam packed with birthday parties!
We're excited about helping a special little girl celebrate her 5th birthday tomorrow! Her favourite book is 'Stick Man' so we've themed the activities around this well loved tale and the locations Stick Man visited along his journey!
... ❄ Sparkly Snow Playdough with festive cutters 🌲 Create your very own Stick Man character 🏖 Sand filled 'beach' tray 🌲 Bird seed woodland theme tray for Scooping and pouring 🌊 Ocean tray with water beads, nets, sea animals and shells!
There will be lots of music and dancing too aswell as an interactive story retelling. All the usual included - scarves, bubbles, instruments, parachute, puppets.

Some dates for the diary everyone.
As mentioned, tomorrow's Children In Need session has been cancelled and rescheduled for the following Friday (23rd Nov).
Our final MM group for 2018 is scheduled for Friday November 30th when we'll have our festive music and play party! Lots of fun planned with festive refreshments included for all 🌲 🎅 ❄
... With Baby Erskine No 3 due on Jan 2nd I'll then be starting a period of maternity leave. I intend to start MM back up in early March once things have settled down a bit after our new arrival.
Hoping to see everyone there for my final couple of sessions. Thankyou for all of your support and kindness so far.

Great group! Very well thought out with themes and sensory plays. We have been going for more than a year now. Lots of variation in the sessions (singing, music instruments, marching, messy plays and we love the seasonal themes -winter, spring, summer!) Well done, Jess x

Fantastic group, my 2 year old son loves it. It's structured activity from start to finish and always something new. Always something for all ages. Messy play without getting too messy.

Fab class again today! Always something new to do and so creative for all ages! Leo loves coming every week �

Bodhi and I love our Mondays and Fridays at musical mayhem! Jess is very welcoming, the sensory experience is fab! Different each week, we love the singing, messy play, games and bubbles!!! Bodhi came home today swirling his arms saying ‘round and round’ from a song we sing there! We also love the social side and the parties, coffee mornings etc that Jess also holds! Highly recommend even from a young age!!

After loving our Friday sessions with Jess, my daughter picked to have Jess for a singing party for her 3rd birthday. The party was fantastic, all the children loved all the singing and activities/messy play Jess organised. Being #exhausted&pregnant it was awesome for me to have to do no organising, set up or clearing up so I could kick back and just enjoy the party. I can't recommend Jess highly enough and her sessions have definitely helped my daughters development.
