From the 1st September 2019 this law will be implemented. Landlords and agents in Wales will be banned for charging extra fees from September.
I have never understood how other letting agents can justify charging applicants (prospective tenants) £175+ to apply for a property! It only takes an hour or so to go through the application paperwork and the same to do any relevant checks as the computer does the work for you! Not only do they charge the applicants but also the prope...rty owners.
Hopefully this will make renting a little easier for prospective tenants applying for properties and landlords won’t miss out!
We’ve always made sure that our charges for tenants are justified and same goes to our clients, without them we wouldn’t be where we are now 🏡
