Lovely food with choices for all tastes. Varied selection of ales. Peaceful ambiance to the place. Excellent.

We've walked past this place so many times and not gone in as the window is always cluttered. Tonight though we were let down by another restaurant and took the plunge.

It's really good.
Excellent home style food. Steak was superb. Good properly fried chips. Excellent cottage pie smothered in cheese.

Fantastic restaurant. Not very big and fills up quickly. Great food and great service. Has a small bar counter so alcohol can be purchased to drink with meals. Well worth a visit if you can get in.

Now I liked this place, but my friend wasn't as impressed - so I guess it depends on what you're looking for. For me, the 5 star review is because of its wide range of (bottled) real ales and ciders, with a couple on draught. I do like my beer. The food is typical pub grub - although done well enough and at a very reasonable price. This isn't where I'd take someone for a romantic night with food - although if you're a tourist you'd be grateful for good food that's not a rip off.

Friendly staff, wonderful food and a huge selection of micro brewery beers from all over Wales including their own.

Useless. Told 30 min wait at 18.10, fine with that, so ordered. At 19.30 had to ask for mains to be take away. Some tables had a three course dinner on the time that we had a starter.
