We play all sorts of music from classical to pop

We are an all-ages, mixed ability, community orchestra. Our members play for pleasure and to gain experience in ensemble playing. Our wonderful conductor often arranges music specifically to suit our varying levels of musicianship. We play, by invitation, at local fund-raising events. We give an interactive workshop to local primary schools each year, and host a community carol-singing at Christmas where we collect for a local cause. Repertoire: popular, light classical, film and shades of folk and jazz. We meet twice a month in term time at Pontargathi Hall
