Reviews
Excellent little museum sitting conveniently near the Taff Trail. The volunteer guides June and Jeff were so welcoming, friendly and passionate about the museum, really selling all the stories connected to the place.
It has very good ceramic workshop, so attending any workshops would be an experience.
Examples of Nantgarw Porcelain and porcelain from Swansea, as well as earthenware and salt glazed pottery produced at the place after production of the Nantgarw porcelain failed.
Charming site illustrating a fascinating episode in Wales's industrial and artistic history
Came for the antiques fair.£1.50 entry but access for wheelchair users was very poor due to it being an old building. Nothing really they could do about it but if had known we wouldn't have bothered.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Museum interesting and tea rooms lovely. I took my elderly Aunt and the staff didn't hurry her and made sure she was safe as we walked around the site. A lovely afternoon and I will look out to for events at the museum in the future.
Nice little place.
Small Museum which nicely illustrates a forgotten part of local history. Staffed by enthusiastic volunteers with a simple tea room.
I have been participating in pottery classes here for many years. A lovely little museum.
Great place to visit with knowledgeable guides and great refreshments. Ceramic history comes alive.
