We found this little gem on a visit to Cardiff yesterday, we will certainly be back!We had coffee&Pastel de Natas which was superb.The prices are amazing we are going to try the soup,tosta &cake next time . Definitely recommend �

Their little custard tarts are delicious - close your eyes and imagine you are in Portugal!

Paid my first visit with my Wife today.Lovely cake,Xadrez I think it was called.Apologies if I got that wrong.Great value at only £1.60!Nice atmosphere in there and very friendly,welcoming staff.Ordered some of my favourite chocolate log to take home with me on Thursday!

Lovely friendly cafe, great coffee (esp with cinnamon) and super baked goods, including some you can take away.



If you've ever been to Portugal or Madeira....

It feels like home, food is amazing! Staff are amazing!

Great coffee, better than starbucks!! Food is amazing and I always get service with a smile :-)

Go here quite often for the lunch time meal deal, soup, toastie and one of those gorgeous custard tarts - always excellent, take a big appetite it’s hooooge

First ever visit. I'm on crutches - so this is an honest review of my experience. The lovely guy serving asked me to choose what I'd like (custard donought for me and a tea!) Hubby had a lovely cake and a cappuccino. We sat down and everything was brought over to us. (We sat on the side on the bar type chairs). The food and drinks were amazing. I needed the loo befire we left. The toilet was spacious and immaculately clean. We bought more goodies to take home. Hubby went to get the car and the young lady who was clearing tables waited and opened the door for me. When we drove past, the lovely guy who served us, was standing by the window and waved to me! Can't fault service like that can you?!

Fantastic café. Gorgeous cakes. What's not to like?

Excellent food, coffee and service. Why would anyone want to use the "chain" coffee stores or bakers when we have 3 of these gems in the city?
