Fantastic views as you walk along the path near the cliffs with great photo opportunities. Would highly recommend as a thing to do in Gower however not suitable for young children and there are no barriers for prevention of falling.

Beautiful beach. Very nice and clean. All facilities avaliable such as a car park and toilets. Amazing breath taking scenerey. Lovely clean beach water. Really nice soft sand. Kids loved the place. Will want to visit again.

Without the National Trust, this beautiful countryside would be covered in concrete.
Instead of sheep droppings and suchlike.
We entered the shop and we were welcomed by Betty, like old friends.
Betty was such a friendly man.
We bought some scones and jam, and a rug.
We promised we would return, we hugged and exchanged emails.
You just dont recieve this kind of service elsewhere.

Awsome beach. The walk normally stops the dirt bags getting there as you have to work to get there. On a philisophical note I had an epyphonie. A group of may be Phillipino women with two guys came onto the beach at about 1800hrs. They opened a bag to reveal big bluetooth speaker. Then then proceeded to play 'Happy' by Bruno Mars. They danced around and were all very happy. Now, they may have been happy. However there was an exodus of people just moving away out of earshot. People were reading enjoying the ambiance. Others were just chatting quietly with a glass of wine, some were just playing with their children. The noise of the surf, the gentle hum of the wind. It was magic. While the phillipino group were happy, no one else was. It made me wonder if that is a problem witj modern society? Is the standard of living so poor, crime so high, corruption so rife and infrastructure failing in the Philippines because individuals are happy at all costs to others? I am normally presenting candid and humerous posts on here. But I believe my experience was symptomatic of problems in the developing world and now the UK. It has made me question multiculturalism over an accepted British norm. Either way, nice beach.

Great views, great walks.
Hills, cliff tops & a beach all in one place what more could you ask for.
The car park was being improved when we went but there was only restrictions on coach's so still plenty of room for cars and the improvements look like they will provide better facilities.

Incredibly beautiful spot on the western tip of the Gower, it's worth going across onto the island at low tide but check the timings - it's further than it looks from the shore. Take a camera, we saw lots of seals.
Good car park, usual shops/coffee/ice creams for sale and the rear of the pub must have one of the best views of any pub anywhere.
