National Wool Museum

Interesting and free museum. Good rainy day activity.

Lovely visit. Be sure to try and catch a demonstration or tour. We went on the lovely circular walk around the village which takes about an hour and really emphasises the historical scale and importance of weaving in this community. The restaurant is great - the pasties in particular. Staff are fantastic.

A great way to spend a few hours if you are in the area. The cafe is very good.

Impromptu visit to the museum. Both myself and 3 year old daughter loved it. Staff were all incredibly friendly and made the visit.

Daughter loved finding the clues to get her prize and still talks about her visit months after we went.

Good place for a mini day out and seeing some interesting culture

Very Nice and Well maintained with exactly the same Old wool machines...they still produce, but for special orders...

A worthwhile and interesting place to visit but also totally free (including parking). An excellent cafe and shop are also on site.
