At Nature tots, the emphasis is on Nature and the world around us. Arts & Crafts and messy play is paramount in meeting the social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional needs of each individual child.

The routine is always flexible and if something is working really well, then I will let it run on longer so that the children get the maximum benefit out of the activity. I encourage parents and children to tell me what they enjoy doing, whether in person or through filling out an ‘about me’ form so that I can tailor the schedule to incorporate these activities.

I provide a wide range of activities including arts & Crafts, storytelling, singing, role play and construction toys. I have a large garden with a playhouse and mud kitchen. I also have raised beds which are a convenient child height. These are available every day and we will spend a lot of time outside learning about nature, planting seeds and outdoor crafts.
