Staff very caring consultant very good and easy to talk to

After my sons dislocated shoulder we were told appointment would be arranged in Physio Therapy dept in Port Talbot in about 4 weeks. Rang after two to see if he had a date only to be told hes on the " emergency" list which can be up to 8 weeks ! So after 7 i rang again, it would be another 4. Had to take time off work to ring, tried for days, 45 mins one time on hold to the worlds most annoying voice message. Why would you let someone who cant pronounce their "th" record a message for the " fizzio ferapy" dept. Shambles top to bottom. I am going to keep on and he will be seen and I will get him all the attention the child deserves, even though I feel like telling them to shove it. No confidence.

My wife went to the walk in surgery in the resource centre two weeks ago and they referred her to the NHS physio in Neath Port Talbot hospital saying she might have to wait several weeks for an appointment. The back pain had got so bad that she had to ring the hospital and was given a cancellation for 3pm (18/07/17). What a waste of time that turned out to be. She went into the physio on time, some individual named Stuart, he told her to do some exercises (no script given) but did not even bother to examine her back. We were in Tescos by 3.15pm. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME.
Suggest if the NHS want to save money they scrap this department as I have heard of similar treatment received by others.

E.N.T. department fantastic. Thorough. Reassuring. Knowledgeable. No excessive waiting.

I would like to thank all the staff in the minor injuries unit for putting me back together after dislocating my elbow whilst I was on holiday . They were all so friendly and helpful which put me at ease during my ordeal thanks for everything Trevor from Manchester

Endoscopy dept staff were truly lovely, from the reception staff, nurses and Dr's, they were friendly and welcoming. Very professional and reassuring, and took the time to explain everything. Our NHS is lucky having such fantastic caring staff and we as patients are lucky to have them, they're a credit to the medical profession.
Same can be also said of the staff at the CT unit where I also recently attended.
