Newcourt Farm Dofe Campsite Description
• Located in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
• OS Explorer OL13 grid reference SO195368.
• Area is suitable for multiple expeditions from Bronze to Gold as well as traning, practice and qualifying ventures. Hill, field and forestry routes available.
• Direct Access from the campsite to four separate public footpaths, suitable in kilometres /duration for Silver and Gold expeditions.
• Low routes suitable for Bronze expeditions or foul weather planning.
• Higher routes provide challenging areas for Gold groups and access to a triangle of
DofE campsites
• Access to local Expedition Area Co-ordinator (see end of page).
• Campsite has capacity for several groups at anyone time with space for supervisors to pitch away from group if required.
• Space for mini buses and canoe trailers to be left at Newcourt at no extra cost during your expedition.
• If travelling by large coach the most suitable access route is from the Telgarth junction heading towards Felindre.
• Toilets & showers. Pot wash area with hot water and hut (if expedition permits dependant upon level of group and / or foul weather conditions).
• Friendly staff experienced in catering for Duke of Edinburgh groups.
• We take bookings directly from young people allowing them to fully plan there own expedition.

Twitter Tweet Our largest group of visitors are preparing for their epic expedition to Newcourt Farm Campsite The boys are the first to pitch up after their gruelling journey taking six weeks and covering six thousand miles. They don’t use sat navs to find us they know where they are going and what they will do when they get here mate. The early birds may already be on their way their expected arrival date is April 16th depending on weather conditions. Just in time for the Easter break
Just a few weeks to the start of our Dofe Exped season

Its almost time to open our gates for the new Dofe Expedition season remember the start of last March the gates were buried, but almost tropical by the 17th. We now have two static caravans just off the main campsite for the free use of Dofe teachers, supervisors and leaders not 5 star but some comfort for those who require it please book in advance, looking forward to welcoming our regular and new groups in 2019
