About Newport Cricket Club
If you want to PLAY, LEARN, WATCH or become involved in cricket, NEWPORT CRICKET CLUB is THE CLUB to join.
We are the major Cricket Club in the area and the only Club in East Wales playing in the prestigious South Wales Premier League. We run 4 Saturday teams and 1 midweek team and a Newport Women’s team who play on Sundays.
We have one of the best Junior Sections in the UK, catering for all abilities, and run 6 Junior Boys, and 4 Junior Girls teams, (U9’s – U15’s).
We have 2 cricket grounds alongside the clubhouse, the main ground being Minor County / County Second X1 standard, while the reserve ground caters for our 3rd and 4th teams and junior commitments.
We have State of the Art, 4 lane outdoor nets, and together with the Indoor Cricket Centre, the ground and its facilities is an established Cricket Centre of Excellence.
