NLH Consultancy offers personal academic tutoring, training and development and other educational advice and support. NLH Consultancy was founded in 2018 by Natalie Hughes. Our mission statement is to provide excellent services for education to all our customers. Natalie has extensive experience in the following areas: SENIOR LECTURER - highly experienced senior lecturer from a higher education institution in subjects such as History, English Language, Study Skills, Research Skills, Personal Development Planning and Work Experience with PDPPERSONAL ACADEMIC TUTOR - over 10 years experience as a personal academic tutor in a higher education institution, working with a diverse mix of students with various learning needs. Many students visiting the Personal Tutoring Unit were those whose first language was not English and therefore required additional language support as well as academic adviceQUALIFIED TEACHER & TRAINER - achieving PGCE - Post Compulsory Education and Training over 10 years agoEXPERIENCED TESOL /TEFL TUTOR - working as a tutor in English as a foreign language and English for speakers of other languages for over 20 yearsEXPERIENCED PROJECT MANAGER - working on a pan Wales University project funded by HEFCW to encourage young people to progress to higher educationFELLOW of the HIGHER EDUCATION ACADEMY - since 2010WORK BASED LEARNING EXPERIENCE - working as a link tutor in Higher Education for a work-based learning degree programme EXPERIENCED TRAINER and DEVELOPER - delivering numerous training and development workshops and short courses in Personal Development to a range of companies and organisationsEXAMINER - external examiner trained by the Higher Education Academy and an examiner for the International BaccalaureateQUALITY and ENHANCEMENT - working with the Learning and Teaching Development Unit in a higher education institution environment on a regular basis
