Noddfa Centre

About Noddfa Centre

Noddfa means haven or refuge - a place of welcome and peace. We provide Retreats, short Breaks for Carers and self catering accommodation.

Noddfa Centre Description

Noddfa is a beautiful Victorian house on the edge of Snowdonia, with its beautiful mountains and lakes. There is something for everyone - walking, climbing, swimming, shopping and many places of historical interest to see.

For Carers:
We welcome those of you who care for the sick or disabled people in your homes, when you have an opportunity to have a break. We also welcome those who have been carers in recent years.

We can give you a chance to meet new friends who share similar experiences and if you wish there will be someone who can help you reflect about your situation.

Above all there will be an atmosphere which will help you to relax and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings.

For Retreats:
We welcome people to a safe place to connect with God, themselves and others on their spiritual journey. Please see our web page for details of Retreats.

Noddfa is available for groups organising their own retreats and for Private Retreats.

Self Catering:

Shalom is the name of the house within the grounds of Noddfa which is available for self-catering accommodation. There are three double rooms, two twin and three single, three bathrooms, two sitting rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, with an extra kitchenette and a laundry room. It is fully furnished and bed linen and towels are available.

Shalom has its own garden and there is access to the extensive grounds of Noddfa. The sea is within walking distance and there is plenty of opportunity for hill-walking.
