... This is the thing. There are only a few weeks til Christmas. In that time you could lose a good half stone, drop an inch from a waist - maybe two - and gain huge energy. You could start to wear a smile. You could drop a dress size.
It is not too late. There's still loads you can do. Try these 3 things starting today....
1. Have a No Nonsense November like my members. You know what you should/shouldn't eat. Just drop it now. 2. Take a walk every day. Just put on a coat and GO. Even if its just 5 minutes. 3. Try an easy, tasty, and nutritious amazing vegan meal this week. Feel full without being bloated or gaining weight. Here's one from our up-and-coming Real Food Recipe Library.
LENTIL & SWEET POTATO STEW.
2 tbsp organic coconut oil / olive oil... 1 small red onion, finely chopped 1 large carrot, finely chopped 1 tsp ground coriander 1 tsp celery salt ½ tsp ground cumin 350g red lentils, soaked overnight 1 bay leaf 1 litre cold fresh water 2 medium sized sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced 1 x 400g can chopped tomatoes Juice of half a lemon Handful of coriander, finely chopped ½ tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper 4 tbsp plain yoghurt for serving (use dairy free yoghurt if preferred)
Serves 4
In a large saucepan, heat the oil over a medium heat. Add the onion and carrots. Cook, stirring occasionally until softened. Add the garlic, ground coriander, celery salt and cumin and cook for 30 seconds. Add the lentils, water and the bay leaf. Bring to boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Add the potatoes and cook for a further 10-15 minutes or until the potatoes are just tender. Stir in the tomatoes and cook for several minutes until warmed through. Remove the bay leaf. Stir in the lemon juice, coriander, salt and pepper. Spoon into a bowl and top with a spoonful of yoghurt.
