Quiet, well located

Recently stayed at North Lodge Eco camping. We had really lovely couple of days staying in the cosy converted horse wagon. Name doesn't do it justice it was fab. Surrounded by butterflies and views of Pembrokeshire. If you want all mod cons and somewhere pretending to be 'Eco' then North Lodge may not be the place for you but if you want the real thing created lovingly by hosts Jane and Martin, a car free site where the kids can roam free safely and meet the chickens and chase the butterflies like us then it's just brilliant 5 stars

I have just returned from a weekend away with a couple of friends. When we arrive we were greeted by Jane. She was really nice and showed us to the cabin in which we were staying. A previous poster described the site as "a bit scabby". I feel this is an unfair description. The site is described on its website as an "eco campsite", a majority of materials used on the site are made from recycled timbers, and upcycling by Martin the other owner (who was also really friendly and even gave us some free egg from his chickens ). I thought the site was quirky with real character, with amazing views looking at the hills in the distance. It's also small site so very peaceful. I would go again, both of my friends agreed.
