About North Wales Christian Ministries

As a Christian ministry, we want to bring people to know Jesus and membership into his family; to develop and feel encouraged.

North Wales Christian Ministries Description

North Wales Christian Ministry

Has grown up out of a desire to see Gods Word (The Bible) as the cornerstone for what we are about at the NWCM.

The Pastoral team to oversee NWCM are as follows Claire Brown, Keith Drury, Richard Rogers and Paul Owen Brown (Pastor)

We are not a Church – NWCM is “a body of bible believing folk, a community” as is defined in Acts chapter 2: 43 – 47.

Summarised as follows (BUT please read the full version from your own Bible)

*Believers

1. Devoted themselves to the teaching of God’s Word.

2. Devoted themselves to fellowship.

3. Devoted themselves to Sharing, meals and possessions with everyone including those in need.

4. Devoted themselves to prayer, including the Lords Supper.

This is the foundation the ministry we are engaged in, is firmly based upon.

We trust Gods mighty working power will be evident in everything about us!

We will be holding house groups throughout North Wales on a weekly basis, then twice a month we hold a gathering of folk, the community to come together for fellowship, worship and listen to Gods word for today’s society.

Then share together over refreshments and a cuppa.

These fellowship times will be held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month starting in December (Sunday 7th and 21st December 2014) at 2: 30pm in the Tithe Barn (Opposite the Gladstone Library)

Sunday 7th December “the X factor of Christmas”

Sunday 21st December “God became man so we can become Gods family members”

“If we were to say everyone is welcome, this would be an understatement, please remember strangers’ are only friends we haven’t yet met, don’t be a stranger; please come and join with us on either the 1st or 3rd Sundays of each month”.

Yours in Christ

Statement of Belief – North Wales Christian Ministries believe in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ who through Gods Holy Spirit enables us to imitate Him in today’s world.

a. We are a group of people, a community who care and have compassion through Gods awesome love and personal relationship for all whom we come in contact with.

b. We make no judgment nor have any prejudices of anyone or any group of people for this would be an insult to them and to God. It would be a violation of God’s word, which we hold dear as our basis of faith.

These are 5 key words that form the basis of practices

* Community – people are the heart of our mission

* Care – Non-Judgmental long term for the duration

* Compassionate – This is practical love in action

* Congregation – All inclusive, lively, good music with understandable messages

* Church – different, rural, urban simple with adequate facilities
