We had pre book for a sweet 16 th birthday party it was amazing.The booth was just great for us to have balloons and our Cupcakes were placed on a lovely table. The food we had was outstanding so so good. The most wonderful thinks we're the girls mocktails that came in beautiful glasses and made with Real fruit thank you so much Niall. Hi, we had a communion meal with o’hares on 21 April 2018. I wanted to pass on our praise for our drinks waiter, Shane Burns. He was so professional and courteous. He knew all of the drinks, gave helpful advice and served us with such a warm and personal service I felt compelled to let you know what an absolute gem this young man is. He made us feel so special and nothing was too much trouble. Please pass on our appreciation and thanks to such a wonderful employee. Teresa Rice

Had a birthday party in the loft in O'Hares last night and the whole occasion was perfect. Brenda has the place looking 100% and all ran like clockwork. Donna and Maggie made sure we were well looked after and nothing was a hassle. All guests left with a full belly thanks to Alan and his crew and the bar staff were excellent all night. A great night in a super venue. The food was fantastic and would definitely recommend this place. Thanks

Ate here last Sunday with family and 2 kids. Had a great meal with excellent service! The waiter was very friendly and even took time out to chat to our kids! Highly recommended!!

We had the carvery there yesterday and i can't get over the amazing service we had couldnt have done enough for us..... not only was the food out of this world, amazing value for money but my son is coelaic and dairy free and they completely took on board everything and made him a beautiful dinner that was catered for him.... I was able to talk to the chef who reasurranced me that all the food give was safe he also cleaned all his knifes to show no cross contamination I was soo impressed, he also showed me how to make the amazing gravey soo I can make it for him.... we will definitely be back again as you can imagine its soo hard for us to eat out with his allergies soo thank you soo much

Starters were very standard, more like a home meal you could russel up yourself and the steak and chips were so disappointing, very dry to the point - almost uneatable. Wouldn't return, def not worth the money. 10% offered off Bill for complaining (total £5) for a terrible meal. Wouldn't recommend unless your totally not fussy and happy to waste your money.

Pretty terrible service really. Went in yesterday for some food. 4 mothers had to lift prams up the steps because the only other access was by walking around the building. Our waitress seemed to have quite an attitude and just ordering seemed to be an annoyance to her. I fancied having a cocktail as it was my birthday only to have her walk away and come back to say "no". 15 minutes later we saw the barman making up 2 cocktails for other customers! The food was nice but won't be back for that kind of service!

Lovely food but the service was piss poor. On a hot summers day 3 drinks ordered and only one came. Waited for 15 minutes and had to go to the main bar and get the drinks for myself. Plenty of staff but none were seem to be doing anything.Not very hospitable.. When i recieved the bill they tried charging me for the drinks . I explained that the young waitress was asked for 4 things, a pint for myself, a wine for my wife, a fizzy orange for my 5 year old grand daughter and a colouring book for her while we waited for our food. A pint came and nothing else.. Recommend the food but if your dying of thirst and like good service then NO. First time ive ever walked out without leaving a tip

It's my birthday today and my family and two little dogs headed to O'Hares as we knew it is dog friendly. They also advertise food in the bar/pub grub and the website seemed to support this.



However we were disappointed to be told when we arrived that they don't serve food in the bar during the summer as it's too busy (there were about two tables filled today). This was told to us by a waiter and then confirmed by a very unwelcoming, disinterested lady in the restaurant. We would have to eat in the restaurant if we wanted food but as we had the dogs, we couldn't eat inside so would have to sit outside. It was just to cold and windy to do this today.



So we had to leave. Really disappointed and feel that O'Hare's need to make it clear on all their marketing that food is only served in the restaurant during the summer. May also be worth looking at the welcome and engagement offered by the restaurant staff which was very poor.

We were met by a young fella that i couldnt understand one word he said as he mumbled rather than talked. Showen to our seats and given menu's we placed a drinks order, my glass had a lipstick stain as plain as and i went to the bar to change it to be looked at as if i had 10 heads. Glass changed we gave our food order, which had a very limited menu,I had chicken goujons and chips (that were cold) my 6yr had champ and sausages and partner had ribs. I didnt say nothing about chips as the mumbling fella was in conversation about how he only had 2days off, So our plates were lifted and my 6yr wanted ice cream so i asked whats on desert menu and choose the choco fudge cake for a cheese cake to come out 15min later i said the the woman i asked for fudge cake and she said "0h sorry i will gave you out that aswel, sorry" wile waiting i tryed the cheese cake that if "fridge" was a flavour it tasted like the smell of the inside of a fridge. Pushing that aside down she came with a huge, might i add, slice of cake. Well never have i ever smelt a chocolate fudge cake like it, 0h my god i can still smel it.

My cake smelt like a week old fish, n0 joke. It must of been in a fridge where there was fish so when they heat up cake it smelt like a fish. Il never look or eat a chocolate fudge cake the same again, i was that sickend by the smell i got up paid for the meal and walked on. There was n0 point talking to the mumbling man. But for £50.75 to be exact it was an expensive stomach turning meal. Wont be back.

Had to go up and get this sorted staff weren't helpful at all very rude and didnt apologize for the many mix ups of the night .

I explained that the young waitress was asked for 4 things, a pint for myself, a wine for my wife, a fizzy orange for my 5 year old grand daughter and a colouring book for her while we waited for our food. A pint came and nothing else.. Recommend the food but if your dying of thirst and like good service then NO. First time ive ever walked out without leaving a tip

It's my birthday today and my family and two little dogs headed to O'Hares as we knew it is dog friendly. They also advertise food in the bar/pub grub and the website seemed to support this.



However we were disappointed to be told when we arrived that they don't serve food in the bar during the summer as it's too busy (there were about two tables filled today). This was told to us by a waiter and then confirmed by a very unwelcoming, disinterested lady in the restaurant. We would have to eat in the restaurant if we wanted food but as we had the dogs, we couldn't eat inside so would have to sit outside. It was just to cold and windy to do this today.



So we had to leave. Really disappointed and feel that O'Hare's need to make it clear on all their marketing that food is only served in the restaurant during the summer. May also be worth looking at the welcome and engagement offered by the restaurant staff which was very poor.

I ate here last night 23/08/17

We were met by a young fella that i couldnt understand one word he said as he mumbled rather than talked. Showen to our seats and given menu's we placed a drinks order, my glass had a lipstick stain as plain as and i went to the bar to change it to be looked at as if i had 10 heads. Glass changed we gave our food order, which had a very limited menu,I had chicken goujons and chips (that were cold) my 6yr had champ and sausages and partner had ribs. I didnt say nothing about chips as the mumbling fella was in conversation about how he only had 2days off, So our plates were lifted and my 6yr wanted ice cream so i asked whats on desert menu and choose the choco fudge cake for a cheese cake to come out 15min later i said the the woman i asked for fudge cake and she said "0h sorry i will gave you out that aswel, sorry" wile waiting i tryed the cheese cake that if "fridge" was a flavour it tasted like the smell of the inside of a fridge. Pushing that aside down she came with a huge, might i add, slice of cake. Well never have i ever smelt a chocolate fudge cake like it, 0h my god i can still smel it.

My cake smelt like a week old fish, n0 joke. It must of been in a fridge where there was fish so when they heat up cake it smelt like a fish. Il never look or eat a chocolate fudge cake the same again, i was that sickend by the smell i got up paid for the meal and walked on. There was n0 point talking to the mumbling man. But for £50.75 to be exact it was an expensive stomach turning meal. Wont be back.

Had dinner here yday . Service was awful . Felt like we were in the way , not welcoming. Food was tastless when it finally came after getting order wrong I was waiting 10 mins with my steak untill the champ arrived then another 5 mins for the gravy my steak was frezzing as we had no forks to eat with . Went up asked for them and was told that's causes use had starters yes but we need them for the mains she said that's cause u had starters and walked away. Then when it came to paying noticed a few added extras charged to us that we didn't order or have ! Had to go up and get this sorted staff weren't helpful at all very rude and didnt apologize for the many mix ups of the night .
