Old Station Caravan Park

We've been going here every year since my husband and I discovered it a few years ago. Despite its proximity to A44, the main route connecting Oxford to Aberystwyth, you don't hear the little bit of traffic that travels along it, so the Old Station Caravan Park manages to retain that rural, tranquil feel nestled between hills and trees. It's a real hidden gem which you wouldn't know was there except for the 'Tea Rooms' sign on the A44 by the single track Road leading to it. And we've found it makes a perfect base from which to explore Wales. Amenities are excellent with an on-site laundrette and free Wi-Fi.

The owners Libby and John Roe are genuinely lovely people; very, very helpful and friendly but not intrusively so and give guests their own space, whether renting a static caravan or pitching a tent. Oh, and did I forget to mention that it's very motorcycle friendly here?

This place is a hidden gem, I was passing by and seen the signs for a tea room and thought I'd stop by. It kind of looks like someone's house when you pull up but it's definitely worth going in. They made the best filter coffee I have ever had and the cakes were delicious and huge! The view is amazing from the garden and the service is great and they're all friendly and welcoming. To top it off it's very reasonably priced, this is now my go to place whenever I'm in the area.

My partner & myself stayed here about 4-5 years ago & we stayed in the cottage for a few days. A lovely location & being back "home" in Wales was nice too. Would like to stay here again.

Beautiful, relaxing spot. Nice coffee and cake. We could have sat admiring the tranquil views over Radnorshire all day. Would love to drop by again for a few days with our mountain bikes.

Only stayed here one night after a 25 mile hike but it is set amongst some beautiful scenery in New Radnor and just over the road from the village. The site is nice and quiet despite being beside the main road and is well kept including the toilet/showering facilities which were immaculate. We had breakfast in the Tea Room there and got very large portions for the cost. I would definitely stay here again if I ever found myself passing through Radnor again.
