Oscars Lounge (Permanently Closed)

Excellent cocktails. Awesome music. Brilliant atmosphere.

Tasty food, seems good value in advance with a roughly £9 all you can eat buffet on some evenings However I have often been surprised by the bill. Possibly because of overpriced drinks which they don't show you a price menu for. Food is good though and you can always get your fill as it is all you can eat.

What started good has gradually become a state that not even words can describe what I think of this place now.

I often wonder how this place can afford to continue to run with the appalling levels of service. Get this, part of a large group and a lot of the buffet trays were empty or nearly empty and as soon as they put a mediocre amount of food items out they're gone within seconds and not enough catered for the amount of people dining.

Oh and since when were onion bhaji's onion rings? o.O

I've probably aged two years simply waiting at the bar for a simple drink - they never have enough staff on. Often ignored and when one member of staff ventures into the bar you're told they're not allowed to make drinks...wtf?!

I honestly thought if I went with a big group they might have got their act together...oh boy I'm really regretting that faith. Please, to avoid disappointment and possibly wasting a few years of your life waiting; just avoid.

AVOID!

Nice atmosphere but disapointed by the food. Too many options and not enough focus on anything great in my opinion.
