I think that was the end of our Waterloo experience last night...we originally set it up with Matt who was in charge for a brief period, before Rob took over, now he has departed....oh well, we had some good moments while it lasted...thanks to all those who came along and supported us, particularly Ray, Karen and Paul last night :-) Col and I will continue to seek out musical ventures...keep in touch on our Facebook pages, including the Providenceswansea page :-)

OK, I'm back, and, of course, it is raining :-/ ...sooooo, let's all get together and have a good therapeutic SING tonight at the Waterloo...hope I can remember some songs.... :-)

User

Hope lots of you are going to turn up on Thursday...otherwise I might just stay here...it is very nice ;-)

Not sure what happened last night...but it was great fun.... :-) thanks to Ray'n'Karen, Kathy'n'Ian (Sprite-lite..), Bob (aka Woody) and Eddie for their excellent contributions towards proceedings...loved the masochism tango Bob!! Just when we thought it was all over, it got all busy again and I am always pleased to do a few Kinks numbers...that and anything else me'n'Mr Col could remember on the spur of the moment!! Will miss the next one as I am off on me hols (again!) ;-)

User

We're on our way :-) come along and join us for our musical soirée this evening, I am sure you will find the locals most appreciative....wellllll...we'll be there to give you a warm welcome ;-)

Unexpectedly lovely evening last night thanks to all the nice people turning up and joining in (or just listening!) - particularly Ray'n'Karen, Kathy, Lynwen, Paul and the lovely blonde woman whose name I forgot to get, who sang 'Make you feel my love' and 'Perfect Day' with us :-)...and apologies for my Kinks indulgence towards the end...I blame it on Karen, she encourages me!!!

User

Stormy weather....anybody able to do that one??? Come on down and join us in celebrating the wonderful British weather tonight...we'll be there to set up around 8...look forward to seeing some of your smiling faces :-)

User

Soooo quiet on Thursday...where was everyone?? Thanks to Karen for keeping Mr Col busy ;-) and to Gary and Paul who played a few notes for us :-)

User

Oops, think I posted in the wrong place!! Anywhooo, me'n'Mr Col will be ready to coordinate proceedings again tonight at the Waterloo, so, if you are heading Mumbles way, come and join us :-)

User

Noisy end to proceedings last night with a singalong of Lola :-) thanks to Ray'n'Karen for turning up to keep us company... :-)

User

Anyone looking for a strum'n'warble tonight?? We will be at the Waterloo to facilitate the exposure of your talent(s) ;-) Come along and let the good people of Mumbes hear you perform...we will be setting up as usual at about 8.30...

User

We are persevering here but still seems to be limited interest in this gig :-/ thanks to Ray'n'Karen who came along last night and to Matt who has promised me that he will perform sober at some point in the future...I'll remind you of that Matt :-)

User

This event is not proving so popular with you good folk out there...any comments on what we could/should do to make it better??? Thursday saw me and Mr Col do our full repertoire of songs... only Andrew there on bass to join in for a jam :-/

User

Well, with Eurovision time upon us again, what better place to try out some tunes than the Waterloo....??? We will be there tonight to set the scene for your award winning performances...come along and make our day...8.30 til late ;-)

User

Thanks to the lovely Sprite (Cathy, Hilary and Ian) for adding some zest to our musical soirée last Thursday....shame we can't seem to attract more people to this event...only Karen, Iwan and Matt contributing to proceedings this week, resulting in an excess of me and Mr Col....but then we need little encouragement to bash out some tunes ;-) ....we are back on 8th May, come along and make our day :-)

User

C'mon without, c'mon within, you've not seen nothing like the mighty....open mic night at the Waterloo ;-) come and join us tonight for some fun....let's get jammin' again :-)

User

Thursday evening in Mumbles?? Guest MC, the very excellent Paul Edwards from top band Doghouse will be there to lead the musical mayhem along with Colin as I am heading east this week...come along, bring your chosen instrument and friends for a fun time :-)
