We realise that with the hot weather at the moment not everyone is in the mood for a Sunday roast on Sundays, with this in mind we have started to offer more alternatives to a roast on a Sunday, changing weekly! This was yesterday's menu. We'll be trying to have curries available as well as different salads and sandwiches available too
As well as this were also running a Sunday draft sheet to give those of you in for food a better idea of which fabulous beers are on at the moment as well as a rolling 'gin of the week's recommendation

Experimental burger V1 is going down well on the Specials board.... Beef burger, pan fried chorizo, beer braised onions & Caerphilly cheese in toasted brioche.

We were at Otley Arms for lunch on Saturday- regrettably they were not very busy but we were given a warm welcome (even if the fire wasn't roaring away). My wife had the curry which she said was excellent - I had Lamb Shank which was on the specials board - it was served with mash and gravy and came with FRESH carrots, fine beans, cauliflower and broccoli - all these were slightly under cooked which suited me perfectly. Great food, pleasant service and excellent value for money. We will return!!!!

There were 12 of us and we thought this was going to be a problem but we were all wrong the service was excellent and the food was to die for perfect in every way and deserts were mouth watering definitely a place to visit again

The Otley used to be a bit of a student dive in my day but they've done it up and now it's fab. Good food, excellent service and a very clean and cosy look to the place. Highly recommended! :-)

Myself and my family had our Christmas lunch at the Otley Arms today and we had a great time with lovely food and fantastic friendly service. Thank you everyone and Merry Christmas xx

Lovely selection of gins, lovely selection of food (including veggie). Staff are really friendly and my dog is welcome..Perfect

Just returned from having a Mother’s Day dinner, what can I say.......food was amazing (compliments to the chef) and service was excellent. Catered for the children with a relaxed friendly atmosphere, will definitely be recommending this little gem. Keep doing what your doing guys!

Had a lovely meal for a friends birthday yesterday there were 8 of us and all of our food arrived together and was piping hot. The food was reasonably priced and we all enjoyed our meals. We were not rushed and stayed for a chat afterwards, would go back again

Had Sunday lunch there today. Best roast I've ever eaten outside of the home. Everything was cooked to perfection. Not mean with portions and plenty of meat which you don't often get. Staff were all friendly, lovely atmosphere. All in all a lovely experience. We will be back.

Great cask beer pub (otley brand) O1 being my favourite, carrying and friendly staff, very clean and warm with a modern twist and trendy ... even a gin bar with wide selection and the right tonics etc... a place full of history and great memories ... � well done to Matt Otley and his wife to run this Treforest iconic place.

Excellent pub/restaurant. Brew their beer and have allot of guest and international beers. They organise some really amazing and original events. Food follows the seasons and is always very good and the staff are always friendly and knowledgable.

Cater to everyone, beers and largers for the gent and a fruit based drink from the lady!

Simple straight forward and a nice atmosphere. Everyone- staff and punters are friendly. Everyone looked after each other and big enough to mingle without stepping on everyone's toes.

All that's left now Is for me to try the food I've heard so much about.

Been here twice now for Sunday lunch, the first time was spur of the moment just driving by at 3.30pm, what a gem we found, food excellent, staff very welcoming, very pleasant eating atmosphere so good we returned & again excellent food & service, will definitely be repeat customers now, best Sunday roast around area by far.
