🙈Madonna Hands🙈 OK we all know I love our Madge and she looks fab but her hands don’t half give her (almost) 61years away.. We are constantly looking for ways to keep the skin on our faces from aging, but what about our hands? The hands have fewer sebaceous glands than the face. Sebaceous glands produce sebum, an oily substance that helps to protect the skin by keeping it lubricated and waterproof. This lack of sebaceous glands makes the skin more prone to dryness.
... Think about it? You use your hands for just about everything — cooking, cleaning, typing, exercising, etc. — so they really do deserve a bit of extra TLC.
Here are some simple ways you can turn back the clock on your hands and deal with common aging issues like dryness and age spots. ▪️Wear a good SPF and apply to the back of your hands regularly. ▪️Moisturize like your life depends on it.... keep a hand moisturizer with your skincare products - that way you won’t forget to use it morning and night. ▪️Get those nails done, use a flattering polish. ... ▪️Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate (use a mild exfoliant at least once a week) ▪️Wear gloves.... for washing up, gardening etc. ▪️Eat well (treat your skin from the inside) ▪️Exercise (get that blood flowing around your body)
